Sandra's Review

5 out of 5 stars

Hopelessly Bromantic is the first book in the Hopelessly Bromantic Duet by Lauren Blakely. There is a prequel called Shameless Flirt that I highly recommend you read. It is the start of TJ and Jude epic romance. If you have been reading Lauren then you know these two! TJ seems to be friends with everyone and Jude is Heath’s (Kismet) younger brother.
TJ couldn’t pack his bags fast enough after his boss lets him know they are sending him to London for a year. He fell in love with the city ten year ago. Now he was twenty-three, single and ready to fill his nights writing, touring the city, and going to the music clubs. Meeting men would be icing on the cake and he was ready to indulge. What he didn’t expect was to meet a hottie on his very first day. It was lust at first sight and the banter was on point from the start and after a few clues they see each other again. And it is kismet. They just clicked and wanted to click even more until…
They moved. Into the same flat. Now the roommate rule has to be invoked. Three hundred sixty-five nights of sharing a flat will be torture but it is better than having the awkward moments that would follow if they didn’t work out. Bring friends was safe. They could still have fun without touching each other in all they ways they both fantasize. Right?
Of course but rules were made to be broken.
I don’t want to get into the story too much but I will say… Hot. Damn. What a ride!! These two are not only fire but their connection out of the bedroom is undeniable. It’s full of passion, fun, sweetness, and support. I ♥️ TJ and Jude! I don’t even have a favorite. They are both equally fantastic. They both made me laugh, swoon, flush, and cry. I know this isn’t their ending and I can’t wait for Here Comes My Man.
P.S. I want to go thrifting with them!!
Quotes:
His smile is like the sun in the morning. It’s slow and unstoppable, and when it coasts across his gorgeous face, it lights up the entire sky.
“Get on your back. Now.”
Oh, hello. Commanding Jude is in the house.
“You,” he says, all low and husky. “You are just…all my fantasies.”
5 out of 5 stars

Hopelessly Bromantic is the first book in the Hopelessly Bromantic duet by Lauren Blakely. I have been waiting for TJ’s story since the second we met him and Lauren gave me everything I wanted and more in his story. TJ, the sexy, aspiring writer who loves music and literature and Jude, the gorgeous British actor trying to break out in his career. A chance meeting with an instant connection turns into a forbidden roommate love story and I am here for all of it! The witty banter, the flirting, the sexy innuendos, the dirty talk, the sexiness. Not only are TJ and Jude hot and steamy, they are so fun to get to know. I felt the heat, the attraction and the connection. Also, TJ in a towel with a toolbelt? Yes, please! I had the pleasure of listening to Teddy Hamilton, Shane East and a cast of amazing narrators and I felt like I was there with them. They really outdid themselves with this story. And what makes it even better? They have a second book which is a second chance romance, enemies-to-lovers story. Lauren has become one of my favorite MM writers and I can’t wait to see what happens with TJ and Jude!

Blurb:

A sexy, passionate, utterly addictive, roomies-to-lovers MM romance from #1 NYT Bestseller Lauren Blakely!

Look, when I met the sexy, witty Brit on the streets of London last night, I had no idea who he was. He was just that hot guy I wanted to have a drink with so I asked him out for my first evening in town.

One thing almost led to another. After a midnight kiss, we made plans for a whole lot more the next day.

But when I unlock the door to my rental in the morning, the English hottie is lounging on the couch like he lives here too. Great. For the next year I’ll be sharing a tiny flat with the sexiest guy I’ve ever known.

Time for a few simple rules — don’t walk around the flat wearing only a towel, don’t spend our nights together exploring London, and don’t crack open my secrets for him.

Even as I smash all those rules, I try to resist falling for the cocky charmer. But after a taste of his lips, I give all the way in, telling myself one night and we won’t fall in love.

Too bad in the morning I discover that hiding my true feelings is the least of my worries, compared to a twist I never see coming.

Contents Include: One broody American, one charming Brit, and two libidos that can barely fit into the smallest flat in London. Translation – hot, angsty nights in the first novel in a scorching and emotional two-book epic MM romance!

Not a Role Model

Battle Crows MC, Book 4

Lani Lynn Vale

Release Date: May 31, 2022

About the Book

You better watch out for people that bounce back from everything that’s meant to destroy them.

Those were the words that Coreline King learned to live by when it came to dealing with Tide ‘Rook’ Crow, member of the Battle Crows MC, general surgeon, and all-around jerk who lived to make her life a living hell.

It all started in high school when he stopped seeing her as a random girl and started to see her as his rival.

Together, they became ‘frenemies.’ I.e.—a person with whom one is friendly, despite a fundamental dislike or rivalry.

At least, it started out like that.

Everyone always says there’s a fine line between love and hate. And at first, Tide and Coreline don’t realize how very true that is.

Not until Tide gets hurt defending Coreline’s honor, and Coreline has to fix him because she feels like she owes him.

But one night of bad choices leads to a very big ‘oops’ that will either haunt them for the next eighteen years or bring them together as tight as they ever could be.

Kara's Review

4.5 out of 5 stars

Not a Role Model is the fourth book in the Battle Crows MC series by Lani Lynn Vale. I’m loving this series with it’s tough alpha men and the strong women who love them. This is Tide and Coraline’s story. They have hated each other since they were young and just bring out the worst in each other. Now they are older and live next door to each other. They throw barbs at each other that has me laughing out loud. The line between love and hate is so small with these two! Tide always teased her, but always secretly watched her. Coraline hated him for picking on her, but she always knew in the back of her mind that she loved him. When some trouble finds her, Tide needs to fix it. They get closer and closer and then boom, it’s all clothes flying off and angry sexiness. Their banter was hilarious and when they were sweet with each other I was swooning. There’s some ups and downs and Tide likes to run, but he always came back. Coraline knows him well enough to forgive him because she understands her man. I loved how they did everything with passion. Fight, love, sexy times. I wasn’t sure what to make of Tide from the last book, but I really loved him! Overall, it’s a great addition to the series and I’m looking forward to Banger and Easton’s story next!

Blog Tour & Reviews – Wicked Flame, Ella Frank

Love is not just a four-letter word.

Wicked Flame, a steamy, opposites attract MM romance and the highly-anticipated conclusion to the Chicago Heat Duet, set in the beloved Chicagoverse from USA Today bestselling author Ella Frank, is now available!

Jameson Life is hard. I learned that at an early age growing up on the South Side of Chicago. I accepted it, even came to expect it. With a sister who was a constant source of worry, and a track record of losing anyone even remotely close to me, trouble seemed to follow me no matter where I turned.

Some people were born lucky. I was just born.

That’s what I used to believe, anyway, until GQ. The gorgeous guy in the fancy clothes who for some reason decided to look twice at me. He gave me a place to call my own, a space to feel safe, and he made me believe in the impossible—that love was more than just a four-letter word.

Ryan Life is unexpected. I learned that just recently when I walked into a bar on the South Side and found the love of my life—Jameson Clarke.

He’s everything I’ve always wanted, and yet somehow even better than I imagined. He’s brave, brash, protective of those he loves, and under all that bravado is a vulnerability that calls to my very soul.

Jameson’s a storm cloud, but he thinks I’m the sun. If that’s true, then I’m determined to break through the shadows of his past and steal his heart the way he’s stolen mine.

5 out of 5 stars

Wicked Flame is the conclusion to the Chicago Heat duet by Ella Frank. I thought I loved Ryan and Jameson in Wicked Heat, but man was I wrong. We pick up right where we left off. Jameson looking after his sister and Ryan there to support him. Jameson is finally realizing he deserves more. He deserves to be happy. He deserves to be loved. Something he never thought was possible. Ryan is going to support Jameson with whatever he needs. He’s in this for the long haul. There will be obstacles and people who don’t think they will make it, but they will prove them all wrong. Two of my favorite scenes are when Jameson meets Ryan’s family and when they have lunch with Alexander, Sean, Gabe and Marcus. I was laughing out loud, that’s how good it was. Jameson is just so sexy with is bad boy vibe, but he’s also sweet and tender and loving. Ryan is so darn cute! But also sexy and so funny. Together they make the perfect pair. That ending…perfection! Overall, I loved every second of it. I laughed, cried, swooned and they are still one of my favorite couples of Ella’s! I will miss these characters, but hopefully we will see them again!

Wicked Flame is the second book in Ella Frank’s Chicago Heat series. You can NOT read this as standalone so go read Wicked Heat now. Seriously, you won’t regret it.
Jameson still doesn’t understand why Ryan isn’t not only walking away from him, but running. Their lives were completely different growing up and Jameson finally got out of the South Side but he could never completely walk away from that life. It was where he grew up, where is sister was, where is father figured lived but his life would be more than his parents’. He was a fireman and a good guy but guilt ate him. He never thought he would fall in love. He never thought he would go to fancy dinners. He never even wanted those things until him…
His Lois to his Superman.
Ryan never thought going to a dive bar would change his life but it brought him the best thing in his life… Jameson. Jameson didn’t think he deserved love but Ryan was determined to show him he deserved it all. Jameson might have saved Ryan from a pickpocket the night they met but Ryan saved Jameson too. But will it all be enough?
I absolutely ♥️ Ryan & Jameson! These two are fire together but it’s more than that. Their story is emotional, sweet, hot, and swoony. I hope to see them again in the future!
Quotes:
“Hey there, GQ.” My cock throbbed in response to the way my nickname sounded on his tongue.
Alexander chuckled. “You need a minute to pick your jaw up off the floor, Ryan?” Yes.
“No, I—”
“Fine. Food first, your mouth second, your body third until I’ve had my fill. And GQ?”
“Yeah?”
“I’m really fucking hungry tonight.” I sucked in a breath.
“Me too.”
“If you wanted to say good morning, GQ, you could’ve just picked up the phone.

Release Day & Review – Confessions: Brantley Walker: Off the Books, Nicole Edwards

May 24, 2022 | Posted in Release Day Blitz, Review | By

From New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Nicole Edwards comes the seventh installment in her Brantley Walker: Off the Books series.

After taking a bullet during a botched kidnapping attempt, Reese Tavoularis went AWOL. Rather than return to Coyote Ridge to fix what he’d broken between him and Brantley Walker, he remained in Dallas, leaving his team in the lurch and using his recovery as an excuse to keep his distance. Or, more accurately, to hide from the repercussions of his own actions. Now he’s back to make amends and convince the man he loves to give him another chance.

When Magnus Storme is accused of kidnapping, Reese finds his footing back with the team as they all band together to prove Magnus’s innocence and find the missing woman.

Confessions: Brantley Walker Off the Books is the seventh book in an amazing series. I can’t even tell you how much I’ve grown to love these characters. My favorite part about this series is yes, you get Brantley and Reese’s story, but you also get JJ and Baz, Trey and Magnus and so many lovable side characters. Travis and his gang. Our beloved Walkers and new characters to fall in love with. Confessions is six months after Secrets and I’m not gonna lie, I wasn’t sure it was all going to be ok. I’ve been patiently awaiting this book. Nicole didn’t make us wait long and she didn’t break my heart. Bruised it a little, but sometimes life and asking for forgiveness does that. Reese is back in town and has a lot to say to Brantley. He’s not sure how he’s going to be received, but he’s cautious and hopeful. He needs to put his heart on the line for love. Brantley doesn’t know what to think when he sees Reese. He’s still so angry, but he’s also still in love and happy that he’s ok. They know they have to work through what happened, but in the midst of that, Ava, Magnus’s friend goes missing. Now the team has to work quickly to find her. JJ and Baz and happy and trying to figure out what’s next for them. Trey and Magnus also come to a realization while searching for Ava, and I couldn’t be happier! Overall, it was everything I wanted it to be and more. Looking forward to more from the series and can’t wait for Trey’s story!

Only a bad nanny knows what it’s like to kiss the boss.

CEO millionaire, Max Fletcher is a single dad in desperate need of a nanny.

Cozy Barlow is in the middle of her self-appointed “gap year” and doing everything she can to detach from her past.

But when her sister begs her to interview for the nanny position of a high maintenance client, she doesn’t have a good enough reason to say no.

And when Max locks eyes on the twenty-something in a tie-dye sweatsuit who pitches the idea of daydreaming all summer—he prepares to give this bad nanny the boot.

One problem: Max’s little girl thinks this plus-sized in body and spirit nanny might be her new bestie, so she hires her on the spot.

Now Max is stuck with this bizarre woman who hates everything he represents—corporate greed, money, status, power.

But one stormy night when the power goes out, he discovers Cozy doesn’t hate him. In fact, he’s the leading role in her fantasies.

Fantasies, he would very much like to make a reality.

“So that’s really your proposal as the nanny to my daughter for the summer? To do nothing?” I ask dryly, hoping this Cassandra person has a backup response that she’s going to pull out of her back pocket at any moment to save this horrible interview.

Cassandra nods proudly. “We’ll also do a lot of sitting. I’m an expert at sitting,” she deadpans.

“Okay…I think we’ve heard enough, Cassandra.” I move to stand, but she reaches out and touches my arm, halting me in my tracks.

“I said to call me Cozy,” she corrects with a wink.

The teasing look in her eyes causes my skin to tighten. I do my best to shake it off as she refocuses on my daughter to share with her the last book that made her cry. Her hand slides off my arm, and my eyes lock on the way her index finger trails off the fabric of my suit.

I’m left struggling to shake this silvery feeling her delicate touch has left on my arm, so I take a moment to inspect Cassandra a bit closer now that her focus is off me. Her facial features are round, a faint dimple appearing in her cheek as she talks animatedly to my daughter. Her alabaster skin is a stunning contrast to her nearly black hair cropped bluntly just above her shoulders. She has shockingly plump lips slathered in a pale pink gloss that thankfully doesn’t match the orange jumpsuit that looks like something a teenager would wear. Her ample curves indicate she’s very much not a child.

“How old are you?” I blurt out in the middle of my interview with this bizarre potential nanny. I blanch at how unprofessional of a question that is and curse under my breath. “I’m sorry, you don’t have to answer that.”

“I’m twenty-six, Big Daddy,” Cassandra replies with another wink and then immediately dives back into conversation with my daughter.

Big Daddy? I frown at that very unpleasant label. Jesus Christ, she is so unprofessional. No fucking way…over my dead body. This will not work. I click my tongue and bring out my CEO voice. “Cassandra…I thank you for coming in, but I’m afraid—”

“You’re hired!” my daughter bursts out, standing up so she’s eye level with me. She thrusts her hand across my face and reaches for Cassandra’s, mimicking me to a T how I’ve handled many successful boardroom transactions.

My mouth hangs open as I sit frozen, watching Cassandra stand in what feels like slow motion to take Everly’s hand and accept the offer.

“This is so awesome!” Cassandra shakes Everly’s hand so hard, she starts to giggle. “This summer is going to be GOAT!”

“Goats?” I exclaim, finally breaking free of my stunned-stupid response to my daughter taking over this meeting. How is Everly so charmed by this…this…I don’t even know what to call a person like Cassandra. “No one said anything about farm animals.”

Cassandra and Everly burst out laughing like they’ve been buddies their entire life. Everly places her slender fingers on my shoulder in a way that makes me feel like the eleven-year-old in the room. “Dad, GOAT means greatest of all time.”

My shoulders slump. “Oh.”

Everly leans over to Cassandra and whispers loudly, “I’m so glad this worked out. If we didn’t hire someone today, my dad was totally going to get a case of his stress poops again.”

“Everly!” My eyes fly wide when Cassandra turns her green gaze at me. I push a nervous hand through my hair and quickly rush out, “I don’t get stress poops. I don’t know what that kid’s talking about.”

Cassandra reaches out and pats me on the other shoulder. “Hey Mr. Fletcher, no judgment here. Maybe you should try some of that kombucha in the waiting room that you won’t let your staff have? It’s really good for the digestive system.”

I groan and pinch the bridge of my nose. This summer is going to be a disaster.

The dress’s zipper stubbornly stays put at the middle of my back. Screw it. I’ll ask the hostess to zip me up. I grab my stuff and leave the bathroom just as the outer office door opens and Josiah walks in. His glance skitters over me, starting with my hair and sliding to my bare toes. “Sorry. I didn’t realize you were in here,” he says. Josiah’s face is interesting enough to make handsome look mundane, though the man is undeniably fine. The kind of fine that makes you lose your train of thought mid sentence and bite your lip. Gorgeous dark skin gleams, pulled taut over the high sculpted bones of his face. To be so controlled, nearly austere, there is something boundless about his presence. Standing here with him, that energy, an amalgamation of ambition and audacity and swagger, swirls around us in the office. It’s like being corked into a bottle with a typhoon. His brows lift, querying. I’m staring. “Oh.” I turn my back to him, as much to recover my composure as to get my zipper up. “It’s stuck. Can ya help?” He doesn’t answer, and his steps are so quiet I barely hear him cross the room, so the heat of his body warming my exposed skin startles me. The backs of his fingers brush over my spine as he pulls the zipper. It doesn’t budge at first, so he has to tug. Even just that whisper of a touch reminds my skin how to goose-bump. I glance over my shoulder and up, my breath hitching when our eyes collide. The air around us practically crackles, charged with a familiar current I’d forgotten was even possible. He clears his throat and slides the zipper to the top. “There you go.” I turn to face him and am unprepared for how close he stands. I’m barefoot and my view narrows to the broad chest and shoulders of the man in front of me. We’re not alone like this often anymore, leading separate lives that only intersect at our kids and our business. Kassim and Deja are usually around, or staff, friends, coaches, teachers. It’s rarely just us. We used to know each other better than anyone. Now I’m not even sure what he watches in the little free time he has away from this place, or if he even watches TV at all. “Have you seen Ozark?” I ask. The thick line of his brows dips. “Nah. Should I?” “It’s one of the best shows I’ve seen in a really long time. The acting, directing. The writing is stellar.” I’m rambling. I want to shove a sock in my mouth to make it stop running. “I’ll have to, uh . . . check it out.” He glances at the door. “I need to get back.” “Yeah.” I reach into the bottom of my suit bag to grab my green heels, bending to slip them on. “I gotta go too.” He runs a thorough glance from my head to my shoes. “You look . . . nice.” “Nice?” I scoop up the suit bag, now stuffed with my clothes, and speed to the door, grinning over my shoulder. “Pfftt. I look amazing.” He shakes his head, allowing a small smile. “You look amazing. Have a good time.” “I’ll try not to be out too late. And don’t let the kids stay up all night, Si. They have school tomorrow.” “Like I’m the pushover parent.” We both know he is, so I just stare at him until his smile broadens to that startling brightness that will snatch your breath if you let it. “Get outta here. I’ll see you at the house.” The house. Not home. Not the dream home we worked for and fantasized about for years. Now it’s just the house where the kids and I live. Josiah’s in the same neighborhood, but a few streets over. I’m not sure why my thoughts keep revisiting the past tonight when my reflection, my mindset, everything has “future” written all over it.

Release Tour & Reviews – Honestly Yours, Jaime Reese

May 13, 2022 | Posted in Release Day Blitz, Review | By

Title: Honestly Yours
Author: Jaime Reese
Genre: Contemporary M/M Romance Standalone
Release Date: May 12, 2022
Cover Design: Reese Dante

“This was a beautiful story of love and found family.”

The truth hurts. But in the end, honesty wins. Or does it?
Warren Prescott loves a challenge. He knows how to play the game and adapts when necessary to succeed in his cutthroat world. Tired of pining for a man he’s wanted for months, Warren intends to seal the deal. Until that man throws him an endearing curveball…
Be honest.
Gian Benedetti doesn’t play games. Success has cost him the personal connections he craves, and he doubts he’ll take another chance on a relationship. Until the attractive, younger man with the brazen personality and confidence stirs his interest.
Except…someone else is playing games.
And threatening everything Gian has worked hard to achieve.
Warren won’t rest until he uncovers the new player and gets his forever with Gian.
But they’ll soon face a hard truth—
Honesty may be what brings them together…
Or it could be the one thing that tears them apart.
***
Honestly Yours is an age-gap standalone romance. It features a snarky younger man with a giant crush on a good-hearted, affectionate, bisexual older man. Expect some banter, a little mystery, a few twists, a dash of angst, curious parents, animal trivia, and a whole lot of love…and hugs (so many hugs).

5 out of 5 stars
Honestly Yours is Jaime Reese’s newest MM standalone romance. I have read every word Jaime has written and have loved each story. I know when I start one that it is going to be unique, emotional, sexy, and sweet with protective and swoon worthy characters. This one is no different and I loved it.
Warren has been watching Gian for months through surveillance at the exclusive club that he owns. It was finally the night he was going to take his shot at the man of his fantasies. He didn’t really know how to woo a man so he went with cheesy pickup lines and straight honesty. Who knew that was Gian’s kink. Honesty not cheesy pickup lines, but hey, they got his attention. Gian didn’t see Warren coming, he was so unexpected and felt right but he was in the middle of multiple projects. What he didn’t know was that someone was going after him and that person was trying to go through Gian to get it…
And Gian was not about to be used. He was also not going to fuck up a good thing even before their first date. Warren and Gian grew up very differently. Warren grew up knowing what hatred felt like while Gian felt loved from both of his parents. Gian wanted to show Warren that he deserved to be loved and family wasn’t always about blood. But can Gian break down Warren’s walls? Gian wants honesty but in the end will it ruin or grow their relationship when one major truth comes to light?
I loved, loved, loved their story! From beginning to end, their banter, connection, humor, and even cheesy pickup lines made me fall in love with them. I want to hug Warren so hard right now. It’s well-written, funny, emotional, and sexy AF. I also loved the cameos. ♥️
Quotes:
“Thanks for dinner.”
“If I’m going to seduce you, I need to feed you first.” Warren finally met his gaze. “That’s the protocol. Right?”
Gian chuckled. “We’re back to that again?”
“I never left.”
“I’m going to tell this story many, many times.”
“Leave out the part where I’m wearing your apron.” He looked down at the flowery and frilly small slip of material. “I still can’t believe you’re making me wear this.”
“It’s step one on the list. Very important.”
“You can thank me later when you blow me.”
“You’re so romantic.”
“I’ll blow you too. See? I can be romantic.”
5 out of 5 stars

Honestly Yours is Jaime Reese’s new standalone romance. I’m a big fan of Jaime’s and have read all her books. It’s been a while since her last one so I was very excited to hear we were getting something new! New characters (although, we do see one of our faves), new story and a whole lot of sexiness and fun. I think I swooned and laughed equally. Warren has been waiting a long time to make his move on Gian. He’s been watching him and when he finally approaches him, he’s nervous. Gian is very intrigued by the handsome stranger and quickly realizes he likes him. More than just a one-night thing. Gian doesn’t ask for much, just honesty. Warren is in control in the boardroom, he knows exactly what he’s doing. But with Gian he’s unsure, he’s nervous and it takes him a while to realize Gian is just a nice guy who likes to hug. The serious man and his hopeless hugger. They both have a lot going on in their lives. Work, projects, obstacles. But Gian wants Warren and he’s willing to be patient. Warren quickly becomes comfortable and let’s his guard down. Realizes life is easier when you have someone by your side. Someone who cares about you. Loves you. Warren didn’t have a loving father and a perfect childhood. Gian has the best parents (I love seeing awesome Italian parents!) even though they like to meddle, they want their son to be happy and Warren makes him happy. Makes him smile. When Warren’s past comes back and threatens his life with Gian, he needs to fight back. Fight for his new life. Wow. This story was so freaking good! I laughed, cried, smiled, swooned and laughed some more. I loved their banter, the hugging jokes, all of it! I loved Warren’s vulnerability and when he gave up control. I love Gian’s sweetness and loyalty and patience. They balance each other out and make each other better men. This fun and sexy romance was totally worth the wait. Thank you, Jaime!

“How are you still single?”

“Cause I’m a hugger. Apparently that scares the shit out of people.”

“It sure does.”

“Vanni! Your boyfriend is so handsome.” Warren leaned into Gian. “Okay, I like her.”

His father appeared from the driver’s side of the SUV. “He’s so young!” Warren snickered.

“Great, Pop. Make me feel old. He’s thirty.”

Jaime Reese is the alter ego of an artist who loves the creative process of writing, just not about herself. Fiction is far more interesting. She has a weakness for broken, misunderstood heroes and feels everyone deserves a chance at love and life. An avid fan of a happy ending, she believes those endings acquired with a little difficulty are more cherished.

5 out of 5 stars

Starry-Eyed Love is the second book in the Spark House series by Helena Hunting. I love Helena and her books and Jackson Holt is one of my favorite heroes of hers. (And let’s be serious, that’s saying a lot!) The first time London meets Jackson is in a bar when he hits on her. She declines his number since she just got out of relationship. The second time she meets him, she’s giving a presentation to his company and realizes he’s the billionaire CEO. Yikes! All of a sudden he wants to be involved in business at a level he never has been before. Jackson never thought he’d see the gorgeous blonde again, but he can’t believe his luck. Now he’s working with her and helping her make business connections. He believes in her family business and wants her to succeed. Only now he can’t date her until his involvement is over. It’s two months of hell. But fun and exciting. He introduces her to people, spends time chatting with her, texting her and finding reasons to be in Colorado. London is having a hard time balancing the business at Spark House and doing what she loves, her Etsy store creations. And spending time with Jackson is getting to be one of her favorite things. She can’t get a read on him all the time, but when he finally admits he wants to date her as soon as the auction they are working on together is over, he’s not kidding. At the end of the night he asks her out and gives her the best kiss of her life. Their chemistry was off the charts before, now it’s just fire! They can deal with the long distance, but when his past comes up London isn’t sure she can trust him. Will Jackson be able to convince her to give him another chance? Oh boy! I really loved London and Jackson. London is so talented and funny and smart. She’s doing things that don’t come naturally to her for her sisters and the business but she loves them that much. Jackson is sexy and fun and swoony! He treats her as an equal and says the most meaningful and sweet things to her. Overall, I laughed, cried, cheered and smiled a lot! I enjoyed it more than the first book! I loved seeing Linc and Griffin again too! Looking forward to Harley’s story.
