Moody is Penelope Ward’s newest standalone. Every time I open one of her books I know I will be addicted to story and this one is no different. It’s unique, forbidden, heartbreaking and at the same time, heartwarming.
The day Wren stepped into Dax’s home to give him a massage was the day both of their lives changed forever. He never got his massage that day or even at the next appointment. What they did get was great conversation and some ogling of the other. On the third appointment, there was actually a massage but there was more to it. They seemed to be developing a friendship along with feelings mixed in but Dax knew he wasn’t for her. She deserved to find someone who could give her everything he couldn’t. It had to let her go but it was easier said than done…
I really can’t get into the storyline more than that. I can say how much I loved these two! I love forbidden romances and plot twists and this book has both. It’s a beautiful love story with twists and turns. I can’t wait for Penelope’s next book and so happy I won’t have to wait look since Penelope and Vi have one coming up!
