Wren has had a crush on her boss and friend’s older brother since she was twelve years old. The man was oblivious to it until…that night. And the next day Wren was gone…

Lili absolutely killed it with Barrett and Wren’s story. I love second-chances and small-town romance and this one was fire. Not only that but it was emotional. I cried a few times! I was full invested in their love story! I can’t wait for the next book, I know the banter is going to be epic.

Barrett is a great doctor, but his personal skills needs some work. He’s known Wren since she was a kid, but hasn’t noticed her until very recently. After spending one night together, he leaves without a word and she literally flees the country. Now it’s months later and he realized what he was missing and wants to show Wren he missed her and he wants more than friendship. Wren isn’t sure how things will be once she’s back. Even more so when Barrett starts acting nice and overly friendly. She doesn’t want to get her heart broken again, but she never stopped loving him. Barrett is going to show her that he’s changed. He’s ready to make the leap with her. Is she ready to put her heart out there? I loved this story! It’s fun, sexy and emotional! Looking forward to the next one!

The Voices Are Back is the fifth book in the Gator Bait MC series by Lani Lynn Vale. I’ve been wondering about Aodhon’s story since we met him. It was an interesting second chance story that had me scratching my head a few times. I enjoyed a lot about it and found it entertaining, but it wasn’t my favorite of the series. I did like Aodhon and Morrigan both and felt for them that they missed out on a lot of years together. Most of which were out of their control. Once they figured it all out they could truly be happy. Then they had to deal with a few obstacles and people in their way. Loved, loved, loved the Epilogue! Looking forward to the next in the series!

Say I’m the One is the first book in the All of Me duet by the addictive Siobhan Davis. I have been an addict of hers since Finding Kyler in 2016. I know when I start one of her books I will not want to put the book down. I didn’t read the synopsis until I sat down to write this review. That’s how I usually roll. I can’t get into the story without spoilers so I suggest reading the synopsis if you want to know more about the story.

I will say it again. Holy. F*ck. Two men. Two continents. Two different types of love. I am seriously invested in Vivien’s love life. Wow. If you love Siobhan Davis books then you know this is a rollercoaster of emotions, twists, turns, and loopy-loops. The writing is fantastic. The characters are engaging. The story is never boring. Angst. Heat. Laughter. Passion. I am so glad that we don’t have to wait for the next book for too long. I need it like now.

So if you haven’t done that yet…do it now!! Go…enjoy!! I really can not say much about the story without spoiling anything. I can say that this duet is epic! I have been on some crazy emotional rides but this one is wild, heartbreaking, swoon-worthy, and poetic. It hit on every last emotion. It’s full of love, laughter, passion, twists, turns, loopy-loops, family, friendship, and angst. I couldn’t put it down!

I usually add quotes but I couldn’t even do that afraid of giving anything away. Holy. Fuck. Seriously, read this duet. The writing is addictive. The storyline is epic. The characters are so well-developed and fantastic. It’s one of my favorite reads of the year! 💞

💞 HOLD ME CLOSE

Hold Me Close is the third book in the All of Me series by Siobhan Davis. You can not read this novella till you have read Say I’m the One and Let Me Love You. The duet was one f*cking wild roller coaster ride of emotions and this one is too in a different way. I can’t really get into the story without spoiling anything. I can say that Vivien and Dillon’s family has to face their pasts and it’s not easy. The boys are both sixteen and struggling in their own ways after getting the full story of what happened when they were children. I wanted to get into the book and give them big hugs! This is a heartbreaking, raw, and emotional story. I don’t usually cry in novellas but I was a hot mess.

P.S. Please Siobhan, give us more in this world. I am hooked!

“I want to talk about why you’re ignoring me.” Without waiting for an invitation, he sat on the couch and stretched out his legs.

Admittedly, Isaac felt bad for Levi, who was pacing, growing more agitated by the moment.

“I’m not ignoring you. We spoke, but I work at Lucky’s. I’m not there to hang out and talk.”

“That’s not what I mean.” Sympathetic to Levi’s obvious distress, Isaac gentled his tone. “Can I assume you’re in the closet? That you haven’t come out to anyone?”

Levi’s face turned bright red. “Well…yeah. That’s part of it,” he mumbled. “You saw those guys. Can you imagine me telling them I’m gay?”

“I don’t know. Can you?”

“No.”

There was no hesitation, and Isaac knew he should get up and leave. He had no idea why he was there in the first place. Then he recalled Levi’s nervous smile when they first met and his wild abandon later that evening in bed, and knew he wasn’t ready to give that up. Not yet.

Having resumed his pacing of the small space, Levi reminded Isaac of a caged predator—all that coiled tension beneath the beautiful, sleek exterior. Without thinking, he left his seat and met Levi in the middle of the room. He took his arm, and Levi froze. Isaac slid his hand up Levi’s biceps and curved it around his nape. A deep shudder ran through Levi.

“It must be very hard to live like this.” Moving closer, he pressed his chest against Levi’s, and Isaac swore he could hear the frantic pounding of Levi’s heart.

“I-I’m used to it,” Levi whispered.

“Maybe so.” Isaac dipped his head and kissed Levi’s lips, his cheeks, and the flutter of his lashes. “But you shouldn’t have to be. You don’t have to be.” His fingers gripped Levi’s shoulders and pulled him nearer.

Lauren never ceases to amaze me with her talent for writing deep, fun, sexy characters and she’s quickly become one of my favorite MM authors! Jason and Beck are two of my favorite characters of Lauren’s and you know I don’t say that lightly. There was just something special about these two. They are all heart and soul and their personal stories and their love story just got to me! I hope we see them again soon!

These two!! My God, they are fire! Between their banter and their heat between the sheets, they are everything! But, it’s a huge risk for their careers. Would their teammates, coaches, team owners and especially the fans cancel them if they came out as a couple? They are both under so much pressure already, will it be worth the risk to sneak around? Or should they end it before it truly begins?

I absolutely fell in love with Jason & Beck. They have their struggles and their strengths. Both make them even more special. They made me laugh, cry, blush, and cry some more! I can’t wait for the rest of the series.

I can’t get too much into the storyline but I can say… OMFG! This man. Swoon. I have been falling for Logan throughout the series and now I have completely fallen for the man. And Aster, she is a badass and knows exactly what she wants. Together, they are fire! Their connection is beautifully poetic. It was awesome catching up with the family! I can’t wait for the next book, I was hoping Tessa was going to get her own story, she deserves it.
