On The Edge by K. Bromberg is now live!

A spicy, only-one-bed, Formula 1 romance from New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg.

Surely this can’t be the only solution to overhaul my tarnished rep— faking a romance with the good girl intern?

But that’s what my agent says. Just a few months of taming my ways—of shedding Formula 1’s party boy image—will land me a lifetime branding deal. One I desperately need.

The key condition?

Pretend I’m madly in love with my new girlfriend. The quiet wallflower who I figured wouldn’t put me in my place. Yeah. This girl is anything but that.

Maddix Hart is defiant and intelligent. Loyal and real. Determined and sexy. And damn it to hell, before I know it, she’s in my head, in our bed . . . and if I’m not careful, she’ll see there’s more to me than the man I show the public. She’ll discover the man I hide from the world. The one who struggles to live up to the unrealistic expectations that should never have been mine.

All I have to do is make sure no one sees the truth behind our farce.

But instead, I let my heart get involved. I begin to believe the lie. And now with everything on the line—the deal, a championship, us—am I willing to risk it all to make her see what the rest of the world believes? That we belong together.

Sandra's Review

5 out of 5 stars

On the Edge is the second book in the Full Throttle series by K. Bromberg. You can read each book as standalone but I highly recommend reading the series in order since they are fun, sexy, and thrilling.

Cruz Navarro is under a lot of pressure to live up to the Navarro name. A billionaire dollar deal just might be a way to get his father off his back. Maybe. Probably not. The thing his father can’t take away is his playboy ways. He loves to party. He loves women. And he loves racing. That’s all he needs or so he thought…

He now needs a babysitter/fake girlfriend if he wants to sign on the dotted line. He has three months to prove to the board that he can make a commitment. To settle down the partying. To be someone to look up to to sell their brand. He isn’t happy about this outcome but if he has to pick one woman to tame him, he chooses her. Maddix Hart.

Maddix was just in the meeting to observe and now, she was assigned to follow a driver from race to race as his girlfriend. It was a conventional way to get a promotion but why not? She wanted to see the world and this was one way to do it. She knew it would change her life but she didn’t realize how much. She was now in a fishbowl. Paps everywhere. She also gets to know Cruz and unexpectedly, she falls…

But will he let her in? His walls are built wide and high around his heart.

I love Cruz and Maddix! I loved watching their growth. Their connection. The way they just want to protect and support each other. It’s a beautiful, fun, sexy ride. I don’t know which couple is next but I do have hope for… heehee.

Genre: MM Romance
Tropes: Fish Out of Water/Cowboy/Grumpy Sunshine
Release Date: October 24, 2023

BLURB

How in the world does a grumpy rancher end up falling for a rich dilettante?

Richard Dunning has it all: private school education, an exquisite designer wardrobe, a last name that ensures he’s invited to all the best parties, and a skincare regimen that’s to die for.
The only thing he doesn’t have is… well, a job. Or a home. Or money in the bank. Not since his dad cut him off.
So when his best frenemy approaches him with a bet—spend a month working as a cowhand on some godforsaken Wyoming ranch in exchange for his dream job—he’s a little too proud and a lot too desperate to say no.
But from the moment Richard and his rhinestone cowboy hat show up at the Silver Fork Ranch, nothing is as expected.
Not the beautiful vistas, not the terrifying horses, not the friendly people, not the epic quantities of cow manure, and definitely not Boone Hammond, the rugged rancher whose eyes are a little too intense, whose expectations are a little too high, and whose kisses are… a lot too tempting.
But when his month on the ranch comes to a close, Richard must choose: return to the safe, luxurious life he thought he wanted… or risk everything for the love he’s been IN SEARCH OF all along.

LUCY LENNOX
Lucy Lennox is a USA Today bestselling author and winner of the A.C. Katt Gay Debut Novel Award.

After enjoying creative writing as a child, Lucy didn’t write her first novel until she was over 40 years old. Her debut novel, Borrowing Blue, was published in the autumn of 2016. Lucy has an English Literature degree from Vanderbilt University, but that doesn’t hold a candle to the years and years of staying up all night reading tantalizing novels on her own. She has three children, plays tennis, and hates folding laundry. While her husband is no shmoopy romance hero, he is very good at math, cooks a mean lasagne, has gorgeous eyes, looks hot in his business clothes, and makes her laugh every single day. She writes gay romance with heart, humor, and heat!

MOLLY MADDOX

Molly Maddox is the romance pen name for a New York Times bestselling author who started writing at an early age because her older sister, Lucy Lennox, was a writer and Molly wanted to be like Lucy in all ways (she still does).

When she’s not writing, Molly likes to cook, read, take pictures of her dog and cat cuddling, and finds an odd satisfaction in folding sheets so that the top sheet is indistinguishable from the bottom sheet.
She loves all things romance and is grateful every day she gets to write for a living.

From the moment he landed in her lap, he knew they were meant to be. That is, until he started to see double, and doubt everything that happened. Find out if it was truly insta-love or just insta-lust in #1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken’s steamy new adult romance, The Unperfects.

I saw her. Liked her instantly. May have slept with her twice only to… well, never mind. It gets confusing after that point.
You see, there are two of them. Identical twins.

All I wanted was a vacation from the bullshit but what I got was evil twin number one and innocent twin number two.
They say things come in threes, so help me God, if there’s another.

I’m healing from past trauma but may have created more for my future.
Anyone got any sage?
A candle?
At this point, I’d take Barney.

Send help.

Sandra's Review

4 out of 5 stars

The Unperfects is Rachel Van Dyken’s newest standalone. I do highly recommend reading The Perfects beforehand so you know Quinn’s full story.

When Chloe decided to go canoeing, she had no idea that a handsome, funny, and charming man would fall from the sky and land right between her thighs. She definitely isn’t complaining about it. Quinn made her feel alive, wanted, and normal. He didn’t realize after their first date about how much that meant to her.
Quinn was in Seaside, Oregon on vacation during his gap year. He was also there to heal his heart. He wasn’t looking for a woman who was his brightness in the dark. She was beautiful, witty, and fun. And after having sex, it was even more of everything including the confusion of his emotions and Chloe’s ups and downs.
I don’t want to spoil anything but I will say it involves secrets, heartache, and anger. It also involves love, loyalty, and friendships. It’s not my favorite RVD books but I was still hooked. I wanted to give out hugs and slaps. I did laugh too. I was all over the place with this one.
4 out of 5 stars

The Unperfects is the newest romance from Rachel Van Dyken. You don’t really have to read The Perfects, but it will help you understand Quinn more. I wanted his story and was excited when I heard we were getting it. He’s been through a lot and his heart is broken. A quick jump off a cliff literally lands him between Chloe’s legs. What luck! There’s an instant attraction and it’s fun and easy. Then it’s not. I’m not going to lie, I wanted to cut a bitch and slap everyone! Except Zane who makes a hilarious appearance. I didn’t fall in love with the characters like I usually do, but it was enjoyable. I really loved seeing so many of our favorites at the end!

Two months ago, everything changed. The enemy no longer feels the need to sulk in the shadows. Instead, he hides in plain sight and prepares his attack… against Reagan Jameson.

Reagan knew this day would come. She proudly holds the featherweight title and is known as one of the sexiest female fighters in MMA history. She can handle her own, and that’s exactly what she plans to do with Nikolai. Unfortunately, things aren’t as they were before. When given an offer she can’t refuse, Reagan is well aware nothing good will come of it.

They promised her power, prestige, and money… a world full of intrigue and dangerous desires. Not being able to resist the allure, she gives in and becomes a pawn in their game. She’s able to fool those closest to her into believing everything is okay… except for Braden Emerson.

Sandra's Review

5 out of 5 stars

Taking the Fight is the second book in the Gloves Off- Second Generation series by L.P. Dover. You do not need to read the Gloves Off series to fall hard for the second generation but you will want to! I do recommend reading the second generation series in order though even if not required. There is a storyline that will flow throughout the series.
Braden (Pax and Gabby’s son) and Reagan (Ryley and Ash’s daughter) have been on edge in their intense sexual tension since they were sixteen years old. Reagan is a fighter and it’s been the biggest fight to not take up Braden on all his flirty offers but she can’t risk her heart. Braden is a flirt and can’t be taken seriously but now at twenty-five he is done watching her walk away. He wants to prove to her that she is truly the only one he wants. The only one he needs. He knew it wouldn’t be easy especially now that he senses that she is hiding something…
Reagan didn’t want to keep secrets from her family and friends especially the man who has always protected her even when she pushes him away. But, it was necessary and she knew the minute she agreed to the terms with the enemy that she was in deep. She truly didn’t know how deep it was going to get and now she had to fight for not only freedom but love.
I knew these two were going to be so much fun but damn. Their banter, sexual tension, and passion is delicious all around. The storyline is full of suspense, enemies, friendships, and love. This series is full of the same and I can’t wait for the next book.
Quotes:
“I’m following you home. I told you that you’d be seeing a lot more of me.”
“Great,” I grumbled, “just what I wanted … you up my ass.”
Braden smirked. “Not my thing, sunshine, but I’ll make an exception for you.”
“You’re ridiculous.” My gaze locked on his backward hat. “You look stupid, by the way.”
Braden’s eyes twinkled. “You’re the only one who’s complained.”
Whenever Braden got close to me, I could feel the burn in my veins. Just watching him train put me on the brink of orgasm.
“Better watch out, she’s going to kick your ass.” She rushed outside to join Emma at the patio table by the pool.
“Don’t threaten me with a good time,” I joked. “I love it when she fires back at me. She does it every time; it never fails.”

Whenever Braden got close to me, I could feel the burn in my veins. Just watching him train put me on the brink of orgasm. What made it worse was when we would spar together. He’d always find a way to get me down on the mat with his body between my legs. That was why I refused to train with him alone. Then again, I’d never really gotten the chance to with so many people being at the gym.

Waving a hand in front of my face, I blew out a breath, hoping the heat on my cheeks would ebb. Once I had enough time to cool down, I grabbed the wedding portfolio on my bookshelf and quietly crept down the hall to see what Braden was doing. He’d turned his ball cap to the front, but I didn’t regret telling him that he looked stupid with it backward; it kept him on his toes. However, I honestly did think he was cute with it that way, but I wasn’t about to tell him that.

His focus was on a shelf on the wall lined with pictures, mainly of Peyton and me, but there was one of my mom and Braden’s mother together with their arms around each other’s shoulders. They were best friends.

“I bet my mom can’t wait for yours to get back in town. I don’t think they’ve seen each other in four months. That’s like a century in best friend years,” I called out.

Braden chuckled and turned around. “Is that how you are with my sister? It’s been a while since you’ve seen her.”

Peyton is my best friend, but I loved her like a sister. Nodding, I focused on the picture of Peyton and me on the beach, posing for the camera in our bikinis with the ocean behind us.

“I love her just as much as I love Emma,” I stated.

A smirk spread across his face. “Then what happened with me? Our mothers forced us together our entire lives and yet you hate me. What gives?”

Batting my eyelashes, I smiled back. “I don’t hate you, Braden. I just think you, my brother, and Ripp have the big-head syndrome. My cousin, Brooks, is excluded from this.” Brooks was the only one out of our group that was responsible. He chose to become an FBI agent instead of a fighter. Now he was away on an undercover mission, and I had no clue when I’d see him again.

“Big-head syndrome?” Braden asked, grinning slyly. “Are you saying I have a huge dick?”

I held up a hand, cutting him off. “I can’t with you right now. I’m talking about the disease you have where you think you’re all that.”

Braden thrust his head back and laughed. “And what? You think you’re not the same way? I’ve seen all the men who want you, Reagan. It’s hard not to when all they do is stare. You enjoy the attention.” He marched over and stood in front of me, his body so achingly close I could feel the heat radiating from him. “And don’t you dare say otherwise. We both know it’d be a lie.”

I did like the attention, even more so now that I’d won my title and had millions of followers. What I craved more, though, was his attention. There was never a lack of it, but I could never get enough. I wanted more than the verbal sparring that was common between us. My phone beeped with an incoming text, so I stepped back to distance us.

Emma: Where are you? Carter just put the burgers on the grill.

I quickly texted her back.

Me: On my way.

“We have to go,” I said, looking up at Braden. “What are we going to tell Emma when she asks why you’re with me?”

Braden’s lips tilted up. “She’s marrying my cousin, Reagan, and I’m the best man. We could always say we’re trying to conserve gas.” His gaze narrowed playfully. “You make it sound like there’s something secret going on between us. Am I missing something?”

“Nope. There will never be anything between us,” I claimed. “That’s wishful thinking on your part.”

Braden stared into my eyes and then down to my lips. “Whatever you say, sunshine. You know one day, you might regret not taking me up on my offers.”

I followed him out the door and locked it while he strolled down the stairs. “I’d rather be a nun,” I shouted.

He laughed the whole way to his car. Who was I kidding? I wouldn’t last a second as a nun.

Title: Level Up: Ducky’s Story
Author: Kindle Alexander
Genre: MM Romance
Release Date: July 12, 2022
Cover Design: Reese Dante

5 out of 5 stars
Level Up is the second book in the Reigns Brothers series by Kindle Alexander. If you read Secret then you have met Chad as Dylan’s son, and if you read Breakaway then you know Ducky as Dallas’s brother. Now, it’s their time to find love.
Chad and Ducky have been friends for years even though they have never met in person. Chad is a golfer and Ducky is techy but they are both gamers and that is where they started their friendship. They are best of friends but when Chad sees Ducky on an award show he doesn’t recognize him. Ducky ‘s transformation was a total shock to the system. He had a crush on the man for years but this other side has made him want to tell Ducky his truth. Not because of Ducky’s new look but because he needs his best friend right now more than ever. And it turns out, Ducky needed him too.
Two weeks in paradise. Time to reflect on careers, friendships, and love. Chad and Ducky are both going through changes and feeling a void in their lives. This was the time to figure out what that void was and fill it. Was the answer in front of them the whole time?
These two!! So yummy! Hey are from two different worlds but met in the gaming world and it’s where it all started. I knew I was going to love these two but it was more than I expected. I hope to see all these characters again someday.
Quotes:
“Every girl here’s been hitting on Ducky all night and all he does is stare at you.”
“I love your eyes,” Chad confessed, further seducing Ducky with his pretty words. “When I close mine, I see yours.”
“I’m gonna kiss that smirk off your face,” Chad threatened as if that were a real punishment.
“My ass is smirking too,” Ducky teased challengingly.
5 out of 5 stars

Level Up is the second book in the Reigns Brothers series by Kindle Alexander. I’ve been waiting for Ducky’s story since we met him. He’s Dallas’s brother and part owner in StreamTrainer. Chad is Dylan’s son from Secret. Ducky is more comfortable behind the computer and with his online friends. But when he needs to present an award, he asks Greer for help. He didn’t realize that help would be a personal chef, new clothes and hardcore working out. He even decides to cut off all his gorgeous curls. Ducky isn’t comfortable with all the new attention. Chad has been friends with Ducky for a long time. He’s always had a crush on him, but thought he was straight. When Ducky asks Chad to go to Hawaii with him for two weeks, things heat up between these best friends. Neither thinks the other is interested. But when they both realize the attraction and sparks are mutual, it is on! And I was there for it. I loved watching Ducky and Chad fight their attraction and then give in. It was all foreplay and sexiness. And when they go all in, they really go all in. They aren’t going to waste any more time apart. They just have to realize what they want next in their lives. Together. I really loved this story! Ducky and Chad were so much fun and so perfect for each other. Sexy and funny and smart. I loved seeing old friends and wouldn’t mind seeing more from them!

“Kindle Alexander takes a caterpillar and molds him into a butterfly and both Chad and Ducky will become instant favorites.” ~The Overflowing Bookcase

Duncan “Ducky” Reigns, metalhead and hardcore gamer, has spent his life railing against the establishment. But now when he looks at himself in the mirror that’s not the person he sees. Though he and his brother have worked hard to create a successful multi-million-dollar company, he’s lost himself and his identity in the process.

Chad Reeves, successful in his own right, has achieved every goal he’s set for himself. But living up to the legacy of his uber-successful father feels like an impossible task. When the heavy burden of a lifelong secret begins to unravel, he’s forced to face the truth. He’s lacking in what matters the most and only one thing can make it right.

Sometimes a simple reboot is all it takes to realize the answers are right in front of you. A soul-searching trip to paradise changes everything for two best friends… if they are brave enough to follow their hearts and reach for the Level Up.

Compassion hinted in Teri Reeves serious expression. “Then who is he?” she asked as if it were a given next option.

Hell, maybe it was. She had lived with his father for eighteen years, knowing he was gay for most of that time.

Technically, her question should have made this easier on Chad, but it didn’t. With all the mean-spirited harassment he’d received from the kids in his high school when his father came out, and the untold amount of bullshit he’d had to deal with when their private family affairs began to be splattered all over the local news, made talking about a long-term relationship with another man anything but casual…

Whoa. Step way back.

Wait a damn minute. Long-term relationship? That thought had struck him like a blow from out of nowhere.

Wow, what a moment for an epiphany. He ran unsteady hands nervously through his hair. A long-term commitment from Ducky? Is that what he wanted?

Ducky had never given him any clue that he was anything other than a straight man. Not any of those telltale signs indicating interest in the same sex. The bigger problem was that Ducky hadn’t spoken to him in days. Not one word to all of Chad’s texts apologizing for his unguarded comment.

His heart dipped then fluttered, sending a shiver from his head to his toes and racing back up his spine again. He didn’t like Ducky ignoring him, not one damn bit. Anyone but Ducky.

“Ducky,” he finally whispered. Funny how saying the name out loud seemed to validate his feelings, giving him an inner boost.

His mother blinked then opened her mouth to speak. No words came as she blinked again, closing her mouth. Her head tilted quizzically, and her hand lifted about six inches from her head. She shook her fingers. He took it to indicate Ducky’s mop of curls.

First smile in days. “Yes. Except he’s changed, but I’m really into those curls.”

Chad reached for the cell phone in his back pocket, bringing up an image of Ducky that he’d saved from The Game Awards. He turned the screen to show his mother Ducky’s new look.

She pretty much had the same reaction he had. A moment of pure confusion as she stared at the screen before she took the phone from his hand, using her fingers to zoom in on Ducky’s face. “This is him? He’s very handsome, Chad.” Her brow wrinkled as she glanced up. “You two have similar coloring, but your hair’s darker now.”

Chad nodded and looked down at Ducky’s photo still on the screen. “He and I talk all the time. Mostly online and text, but it’s moved to phone calls now too. We’ve never met face-to-face, but he’s my best friend. I share almost everything with him, yet he didn’t tell me he’d made these changes to his appearance. That’s why I said it wasn’t him during the podcast. It caught me off guard.”

“Because you’re attracted to him?” she asked, looking at the screen again, tapping it to keep the photo up.

“I was attracted to him before he did all this. He’s a really good guy, Mom. Smarter than anyone I know. We’ve been friends since we were on Xbox Live together in early junior high. I think he surpasses Dad with his knowledge of code. Ducky can hack into anything. We’d all be online together and watch him do it when we were younger.” Chad took his phone from his mother, drawing her attention back to him. She needed to hear what he planned to say. “I’ve been dealing with my attraction to guys since way before Dad came out. Ducky was the first guy I was into. I’ve never stopped being into him. He’s funny in this unintentional way, but he laughs at himself. He’s real. The most real person I’ve ever known. I’ve never met anyone else like him.”

“I never had any idea you had these feelings. When I asked the question, I didn’t really expect this response,” his mom said in that way only mothers used when they spoke of the regret of missing something so big. “You were young. You must have been afraid and unsure.”

“Hell no, I wasn’t afraid. Sorry,” Chad said, ignoring the critical arching of her brow at the use of the swear word. “Do you think any child you raised could be afraid of anything?”

He pushed off the counter, tucking his cell phone back into his pocket. “I’ve been with guys, Mom. Lots of ’em. And that’s all I’m going to say so don’t ask me any questions.” He couldn’t contain the shiver running through him at the awkwardness of admitting even that much to his mother about his sex life.

“You’ve been with women, too. Right?” His mom stammered, clearly questioning everything she knew about Chad. “Don’t answer that. It doesn’t matter. How have I never known these things about you before? I tried to be an observant, present mother for your whole life. I love you.” She looked pitiful, causing Chad to give a good laugh as his mother took her seat and lifted her glass of iced tea, taking several long gulps.

“Mom, all of us are very well-adjusted. You and Dad are great parents. Kids don’t tell their parents everything. You know that. And it wasn’t easy on any of us to have Dad’s sexuality splashed out for the world to see. I get that social media doesn’t hold weight, but when your father owns a social platform that’s bought by a technology giant like Wilder and then those two men become a couple…the children involved are gonna get some backlash.”

“Oh, I need something stronger than flavored tea.”

I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it’s true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women’s hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life – I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations – regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal… I don’t want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I’m going to tell you about Kindle
I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I’ll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. That time in my life was terrible. It’s everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Pre-Order Blitz & Review – Perfect Kiss, Lacey Black

Title: Perfect Kiss
A Mason Creek Series Standalone Novel
Author: Lacey Black
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: July 29, 2021

BLURB

Malcolm

They say opposites attract, but I never understood the phrase until Leni Abbott walked into my office—or more specifically—into my office bathroom, while I was naked. Even as the pink stained her cheeks and she stuttered to speak, I was completely intrigued. She’s unlike anyone I’ve met before and, wildly enough, seems immune to my charms.
She also has a son. A young five-year-old boy, Trace, who blindsides me with his toothless grin and worms his way into my heart.
Together, they make me feel things. Things I’ve never expected. This single mom might not know it, but she could be everything I never knew I wanted.

Leni

I’ve heard all the rumors about Malcolm Wright, the playboy mayor with a trail of broken hearts left in his wake. I try to resist him, really I do, but he’s always there with those devastatingly gorgeous eyes and a sexy smile full of wicked intent. When he hires my business to clean his impressive house, I know I should stay away, yet find my resolve slipping.
Then he meets my son. I fully expect him to run for the hills, but that doesn’t happen. In fact, being near Trace only seems to draw Malcolm and I closer.
Now there are two hearts on the line as I put my trust and faith into the one man in Mason Creek who may not be able to give his own heart in return.

Perfect Kiss is part of the Mason Creek series featuring many authors. This one is by one of my favorites, Lacey Black. I haven’t read the other books yet but it does make me want to since I just know some of the supporting characters have their own books.

Malcolm is the Mayor of Mason Creek after following in his dad and grandpa’s footsteps. They are also lawyers in the small town of three-thousand. Unlike his dad and grandpa, he is a bachelor and has dated many women in town and not looking to settle down anytime soon. He never felt a connection until he saw her. A woman who surprised him from the very first moment he saw her. He was intrigued by the woman who seems shy but he saw through her while she saw all of him. He had to know more about her. He knew she was a single mom and a new business owner in town. And that she was beautiful and had the sweetest blush. Will she be the one to bring him to his knees?

Leni moved back home six-months ago with her five-year-old son, Trace. She wanted to be with her family and for Trace to get to know them. She owned two businesses, one cleaning houses and businesses and one owning the laundromat. She had no idea one of those jobs would lead her to him. The mayor. She heard the rumors. It’s a small town after-all. They may be true and after meeting him, they most likely were. He was definitely a charmer and she didn’t have time for all that business but he seemed to be everywhere. Especially when he was a new client.

I love these two!! They are unexpected. Sexy. Fun. And full of heart. I loved how they surprised each other. And the way Trace was right there with them was awesome. Lacey is amazing at including children into her stories. Perfect Kiss had the perfect blend of laughter, charm, heat, love, and family.

Quotes:

She tastes as sweet as honey. Her lips are like sin, ripe and made for kissing.

I want more.

“Oh, Lenora. You’re a temptation I wasn’t expecting.”

“You better be comparing the size of the fish you caught earlier in the day,” Grayson states with humor in his voice as he joins us in the kitchen.

Sandra's Review

5 out of 5 stars

Quarterback Keeper is Lacey Black’s newest standalone novella. I have read every word Lacey has written and have loved them all. She is becoming the queen of the surprise baby books!
Ashtyn had no idea that when she went over to celebrate her news with her twin brother, Alex, that she would end the night with his best friend, Tate. Tate, the hottest quarterback in the NFL as well as being the biggest playboy. She had only met him a handful of times over the last ten years and never thought in a million years that he even looked at her as more than Alex’s bookworm little sister. And she definitely didn’t expect that their one night together would change her life forever…
Tate is shocked, pissed, and in awe of Ash’s secret. He thought their night together was amazing even if he did leave like a coward by morning. But this? Why wouldn’t she tell him about having a baby. A baby! A cute little one who stares at him like he is his everything. He never thought he would want this but he is knocked off his axis. Can he and Ash make this work? Is there more than a baby between them?
Aw!! This is an novella but it packs a punch! So much story full of friendship, love, burps, and little cute baby toes. I loved it and kinda hoping for an Alex book. That man needs to find love.
Quotes:
The sexy librarian could very well have been the best thing to happen to me and my greatest mistake, all in one.
Trying to pretend he’s not there is futile, especially when his aftershave makes its way across the room. It’s a sexy woodsy scent that would turn the best of girls into a bad one.
“You might be right, but look what I did,” I state proudly, pointing down to the fresh diaper.
Ashtyn snickers, closing the dirty diaper and throwing it at me. “The quarterback has quick hands.”
5 out of 5 stars

Quarterback Keeper is a short, sexy, funny and sweet novella by the talented Lacey Black. I love a good brother’s best friend romance and add in a surprise baby? Double the goodness! Tate is Ashtyn’s twin brother’s best friend. They aren’t close, but they spend one night together, celebrating her new job, drinking and talking. He’s more than she thought he would be. And he wants her. She should say no, he’s a famous NFL quarterback, but she doesn’t want to. Their chemistry is too good to pass up. But then he’s gone in the morning, but never forgotten. She’ll always have his baby to remember him by. But then he shows up at her door with her brother and he’s not going to let her get away again. Tate hasn’t stopped thinking about Ash since the one night they spent together. He hasn’t been partying like he used to. Hasn’t been picking up women. She just got to him and he can’t believe she’s here. And she has a baby. One look at her son and he knows it’s his. And he’s not running away this time. Will Tate and Ashtyn realize there’s more between them than their son? I loved this story. So much! It might be a novella, but it never feels that way. It’s well developed, fast-paced and I fell hard and fast for the characters. Tate is sexy and sweet and I love the way he looks at her and his son. Ash is smart, funny and such a good mom. Overall, I laughed, teared up, smiled and loved it.

What happens when you’re left with more than just the memories of an incredible night together?

Settle in and get your fill of sixteen NEW secret baby stories where hidden secrets are revealed and couples that were once separated are reunited. Each story guarantees cuteness, sexiness, lots of love, and of course a HEA.
