Release Day & Review – A Kiss for A Kiss, Helena Hunting

There’s a small complication. A beautiful, sexy complication named Hanna.

A Kiss for A Kiss, an all-new second chance-at-love mature adult romance from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting is available now!

I’m Jake Masterson, single dad, and the General Manager of Seattle’s NHL team. I walked away from a career as a player so I could raise my daughter. For the last twenty-plus years, Queenie has been my main priority, but now she’s getting married. And there’s a small complication. A beautiful, sexy complication named Hanna. She’s my son-in-law’s older sister. Or at least that’s how they were raised. The truth is a little more scandalous than that. I’ve been drawn to her from the moment I laid eyes on her. And I spent months trying to keep a lid on that attraction. Until we finally give in. It starts with one searing kiss, but quickly ends with us between the sheets—and in the shower, and the hot tub, you get the picture—and turns into months of sneaking around. Here’s the problem: we live on opposite ends of the country. It can’t be anything but casual. And as I’ve already said…it’s complicated. But when Hanna finds out she’s pregnant…suddenly things get real serious.

Kara's Review

A Kiss for a Kiss is the fourth book in the All In series by Helena Hunting. Oh Jake, be still my heart. I loved you when we met you as Queenie’s dad. And I knew you and Hanna were perfect for each other. You had similar stories, a lot in common and crazy hot chemistry. But your daughter is marrying her son (who everyone thinks is her brother). To say it’s complicated is an understatement! They decide they are better off as friends so they don’t complicate things any further. And then Hanna finds out she’s pregnant. She’s forty-six and thought she was in perimenopause but now she’s pregnant and lives across the country from Jake and her son. Jake wants to be involved, but how is that going to work. They both have jobs and families. They both compromised things in their lives when they had Ryan and Queenie. But they are older and wiser and just talk to each other about how they feel. Not only do they want to raise this baby together, they want to be together. I couldn’t love this book more if I tried! I loved that Jake and Hanna are my age! It was refreshing to watch them communicate like adults. I loved their banter, the sexiness, their openness. Pretty much loved everything!!

Like any cowboy, he’s good with a rope and knows exactly how to tie me up. But what if I want him to tie me down?

Tie Me Down, an all new smoldering second-chance romance from USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow is now live!

Just friends. That’s all Beckett Weaver and I have ever been. Sure, he’s a hot cowboy who left Wall Street behind to take over his family’s ranch. Yes, I’ve had a secret crush on him since we were seventeen. And who wouldn’t appreciate those strong hands, that massive chest, and the way he fills out a pair of Levis? He makes a girl sweat just looking at him . . . and I look. A lot. But I’m a single mom trying to move on with my life, and he’s running that ranch single-handedly while taking care of his elderly father. We don’t even live in the same state. I only returned to my hometown of Bellamy Creek to sell my late mother’s house, and he just invited me and my son to stay with him because he’s got a big heart. That’s not the only big thing he’s got–which I discover the night I finally sneak across the hall to his bedroom and shed my inhibitions right alongside my pajamas. And once we give into each other, we can’t stop. The hayloft. The bed of his truck. The dock by the pond. Nothing has ever felt so right, but his past has taught him not to believe in happily ever after, and every perfect night I spend in his arms brings us closer to goodbye. Like any cowboy, he’s good with a rope and knows exactly how to tie me up. But what if I want him to tie me down?

5 out of 5 stars

Tie Me Down is the fourth and final book in the Bellamy Creek series by Melanie Harlow. It’s a bittersweet ending to this amazing series connected by four best friends in a small town. Four friends who live for old man baseball, family, and now their loves.
Fifteen years ago the boys graduated high school and went their separate ways but were always there for each other. Since then they have all made it back to their hometown of Bellamy Creek. Beckett went to Harvard to Wall Street and a years years ago he left the big city to takeover his family’s farm and take care of his father. Every time he looked at the old maple tree he thought of the girl who got away. Maddie Blake. His friend, neighbor, and now the woman who was going to be staying with him for the next two weeks with her son, Elliott.
Maddie left her hometown and never looked back. She stayed in touch with Beckett for years. He was her rock for years until she had to make a choice. When she called him months ago she didn’t know how he would feel and when he invited her and her son to stay with him on the farm while she prepared her mom’s house to sell, it was unexpected. She had a crush on him at seventeen and when she sees him again at thirty-three, it was no different. He was all man. He smelled like hard work and dedication. He looked like sex on a stick. But it was his heart that melted her. Made her swoon. And once she got a taste of him, it was on. He knew how to tie her up in all the sweet and naughty ways but is he willing to tie her down for the long haul?
Omg, I loved this book and this series!! I can’t even pick a favorite anymore. I love all these old men of baseball and the women who love them. And the kids!!! Elliott is amazing! I want his pink boots. This book made me swoon, cry, get hot and bothered and cry again. Such an emotional and beautiful ride. I am excited about what Melanie has for us next.
P.S. Make sure to read the bonus scene.
“Are you staying here too?”
“Yes,” Elliott replied.
“Well, good. That’s good.” My dad nodded in satisfaction. “You’ll like it here. Sometimes they don’t let you out when you ask, but mostly the people are nice.”
“I’m good with a rope, you know.”
My stomach tightened. “I bet you are, cowboy.”
“Is it time?” Cole asked.
“Yes. But you’re so adorable with your group hug, I don’t even want to break it up.”
“It wasn’t a group hug,” scoffed Griffin, adjusting his lapels.
“It was a team huddle.” Moretti fussed with his cuffs. “A very manly team huddle.”

Doin’ a Dime

Souls Chapel Revenants MC Book 4

Lani Lynn Vale

Release Date: May 18, 2021

About the Book

Live-in property & pet caretaker needed. Six-year minimum. Background check required. Generous compensation. Marriage of convenience required.

The moment that Wyett Villin read the ad on her local community’s page, she knew that it would be perfect. It didn’t matter how big the house was, what kinds of animals she had to take care of, or what the compensation was. She didn’t give a flip as long as it got her out of her childhood home and away from the person that she despised the most.

Only, she had no clue that by accepting the position, she would be agreeing to watch over the mini-mansion and two large dogs of Hunt McJimpsey, computer hacker extraordinaire, sexy nerd, and convicted felon of Souls Chapel, Texas.

She’d meant to make her life easier, not complicate it more.

Hunt McJimpsey was careful. He knew exactly what he was doing and practically planned every single step that he took to make sure that he always had his tracks covered.

But one single mistake costs him five years of his life, and if he’s going to go down for the crime, he might as well make it spectacular.

Three years into his prison sentence, he’s a changed man, and definitely not for the better.

He’s harder, angrier, and even more brilliant and conniving than before he went in.

He thinks that by keeping up with his dogs’ babysitter, his property caretaker, and reluctant wife, that he’s only doing his due diligence as a responsible person. Only, what starts out as curiosity for his property turns into genuine like for the woman that is caring for what means the most to him.

When an opportunity to get out of the hellhole known as prison arises and the only thing he has to do is join a motorcycle club and sign some of his free time away to help those less fortunate, he jumps at the chance.

Not only because he’s ready to get the hell out of prison, but because he’s ready to meet the woman that he’s been falling for, one visit a week, for the last three years.

Doin’ A Dime is the fourth book in the Souls Chapel Revenants MC series by Lani Lynn Vale. This is Hunt’s story and I knew it was going to be goooooood! There’s just something about a smart guy in glasses that gets me every time! We’ve known him since the beginning of the series and I absolutely loved his story! He meets Wyett by accident but once he sees her he knows she’s the one he needs. He’s a computer hacker and he’s going to prison. He needs a wife to watch his house and his dogs so he makes sure she’s the one who answers his ad. She needs a place to live and somewhere to feel safe. She goes to visit him and when he gets out early, she’s there for him. He doesn’t want her to leave. She doesn’t want to go. Can they make it work after four years apart? Oh my! Hunt and Wyett were just destined to be together! She is everything he’s ever needed and he’s just what she’s always wanted. They are so hilarious and sexy together that I was laughing one minute and fanning myself the next. The camping scene? The scene in the Target parking lot? OMG. I was dying! And sweet Jesus…Sin, I can’t wait for your story! Gimme, Gimme!

The geek, the jock, and a new set of rules…

My friend’s brother needs an academic assistant and I need a job. Problem…jocks are my weakness. Seriously. I lose my ability to speak coherently around muscle-bound hotties. Oh yeah, I lose my inhibitions too—not a good look for a guy with a genius IQ. So what am I going to do about Simon?

Finishing college isn’t high on my list of priorities, but my future in professional football is looking bleak. I need a plan B or C, and I could use some help navigating life as an undergrad. Topher is perfect. He’s also a little strange…but in a good way. And I like the way I feel when I’m around him—as though anything is possible. Maybe if we follow our hearts, we’ll find what we’re looking for. But that means changing the rules…

Following the Rules is a MM, bisexual awakening romance starring a lovable nerd, a cool jock, and some extracurricular fun.

I served us both a slice of each kind of pizza and slid a plate his way, gesturing for him to help himself to the cheese or whatever else he might want.

“I don’t care about money,” I said around a mouthful of food. “Eat up. This is tasty, but it won’t be as good when it’s cold.”

Topher flashed an anxious sideways smile and took a mouse-sized nibble. “Mmm, that’s delicious.”

I washed down my pizza with a healthy swig of wine, nudging his knee as I swiveled to face him. “Are you okay?”

He wiped his hands on a napkin and drained half his water, setting it on the island with a decisive thud. “Yes, I’m just a little nervous.”

“Nervous? Oh. I’m sorry.” I frowned and before I could rein my tongue, blurted, “You seemed fine when we were joking about tiny gorilla penises, and hell…you saw my dick and—”

“I wasn’t joking. I was reciting a fact and as far as your penis is concerned…”

I twisted to face him, unable to contain a mischievous grin.

“Yes? I’m waiting,” I singsonged, biting into the ham and pineapple pizza.

“I told you, Simon…I was simply doing the math,” he replied matter-of-factly. “Six and a half inches.”

Topher narrowed his eyes, his features softening in amusement. “Six and three-quarters, max.”

I scoffed and hooked my thumb under the elastic waistband of my sweats. “Wanna see?”

“No! Geez. You know, it’s very difficult to stay on topic with you. And staying on topic is the only way this will work.”

“Okay, fine. Back to dick size. What animal has the biggest schlong on the planet?”

He gaped at me for a hot second. “The blue whale. It’s estimated to be seven to ten feet long.”

“Although I don’t know that it’s ever been measured during intercourse. Or if that’s even possible.” He reached for his pizza with his brow knit in concentration as though pondering whale dick…as one does.

“Whales are huge. It makes sense. What about land animals?”

“Elephants. They’ve legitimately measured specimens in excess of thirty-nine inches.”

“You’ve got to be kidding.” I snort-laughed. “Christ, I’m feeling very inadequate with my mere twelve inches.”

“Six,” Topher scoffed. “Look, before we get sidetracked again, I just want to—”

“I’ll pay you double.”

“What? Why?”

I sighed as I picked up my wineglass. “I don’t want to fail. No…it’s more than that. I need to look smart. I can’t come across as the fuckup wide receiver who got dumped from the NFL and blew the cushy back-door admittance to a prestigious university by failing his first semester. I thought I might be able to muddle through with a few pointers from George, but it’s going to take more than that. I need a real assistant.”

Topher widened his eyes, then blinked in disbelief when I named an exorbitant salary. I had a hard time keeping my own expression. What the hell was I thinking? Did I really need an assistant?

I didn’t know, but I needed…something.

“Oh, that’s a lot of money,” he whispered breathlessly.

“It’s the going rate for a personal assistant. Ironically, I never had one while I played ball, but I need the help now. I want the best, and George says that’s you.”

Topher smiled. “George didn’t say he was the best?”

“Actually, he did. But we can’t be in the same room for an hour without wanting to take a swing at each other.”

“You and George fight?”

“Not as much now that we’re older, but…yeah, I guess we still fight. We don’t have much in common.”

“You and I have even less in common,” he replied.

“That’s a good thing. Trust me, it’s better for me that you don’t know that I slept with a teddy bear until I was thirteen…or that I still have that damn bear for reasons unknown.” I gave a self-deprecating chuckle, then sipped my wine and set it on the island. “So…are you in? Make me smarter, Toph. I need your brain!”

He stared at me for a long moment, inclining his head. “Okay.”

“Yes!” I fist-pumped the air as if I’d just scored a touchdown and held out my hand for a high five.

Topher left me hanging for a few long seconds before gently tapping his palm to mine. I grabbed his wrist to hold him steady for a redo. The contact was light and breezy…and spontaneous. But that was how I rolled. For a guy who played professional football, it was nothing.

However, this didn’t feel like nothing.

Following the Rules is the first book new series, The Script Club, by Lane Hayes. It’s a brother’s friend, awakening story full of fun, sexiness, dorkiness and little angst. My favorite kind of book! It’s a feel good story about Simon, the jock and Topher, the nerd. An unlikely pair who happen to be perfect for each other. They are both at pivotal places in their life. Simon needs to finish college while he’s waiting to hear about his future in football and Topher is about to start grad school and looking for the perfect job. Simon needs help with school and Topher is a genius who needs the money. Win win. And the added extra bonus, they have crazy chemistry! I loved their fun banter and the way Simon is so laid back and never questioned his attraction for Topher. Topher cracked me up with his facts and his nervous talking. I couldn’t love these two more if I tried! Looking forward to the next one!

Good to be Bad is the third book in the Good Love series by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. Two of my favorite authors! You can read each book has standalone but I recommend reading the series since they are absolutely sexy, funny, and oh, so swoony.
Gigi James loves a good competition. She loves board games, Rubix’s cube, and baking the best pies. She is beautifully unique with her fashion and her ways of having fun. She hasn’t met a man who could love for her. Then, she meet him. A unicorn. A sexy Brit who could solve a Rubix’s cube in under one minute, who can make her melt with his sexy brain, and swoony foreplay while playing Scrabble. One night. That’s all she wanted. She didn’t have time for more but when you catch a unicorn could you let him go?
Hell. No. But when that unicorn turns out to be the competition in a baking event? She has to think about her business. The family business in her hands. Is he worth the risk to Sweetie Pies and more importantly, her heart?
Weston Byron wasn’t looking for love. He didn’t even want to find a date but when he sees her, he just couldn’t resist. He had to have her even if it was just for one night. She captivated him. He had no idea Gigi would change his world. He just had to prove to her that he wasn’t going to hurt her like the arses before him. He loved her quirks. Loved her even more for them.
Omg!! I loved the first two books but this one is my favorite. It’s so much fun and the heat leveled up! The characters are charming, brilliant, and beautiful. I also loved their nerdy sides. I mean, who wouldn’t love to have a library with a ladder?! Swoon.
“Let’s drink to the best kinds of games.”
“And those are?”
I lean close, brush a soft curl of her hair off her shoulder, then press a kiss to the column of her throat. “Bedroom games, of course.”
His words are sexier than his body, and his body is a work of art.
“I don’t bite. Not unless you ask nicely and tell me how hard you like it.”
5 out of 5 stars

Good To Be Bad is the third book in the Good Love series by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. Two of my absolute favorites together again. Woo hoo! These two women just make magic when they write together and I love every word! This is Gigi’s story. She’s running her business, living the dream and not looking for a man. But when she hears a sexy British accent attached to a suit wearing hottie, she can’t help but be intrigued and instantly attracted. West can’t help but be attracted to Gigi. She’s funny, sexy, fashionable and asks for what she wants. What’s a little fun now and then, nothing series. Until it’s more. And oh boy, is it more! Gigi and West are so fun together! They have so much in common in and out of the bedroom. Overall, I laughed, cried, got hot and bothered and smiled the entire time.

Audio: Lili Valente and Shane East once again dazzle us! They make the perfect pair and the perfect Gigi and West!

Sandra's Review

5 out of 5 stars

Off the Record is the third book in the With Me in Seattle Mafia series by Kristen Proby. You can read each book as standalone but I highly recommend reading the series since they are tied together by family and friends. Two of the Martinelli men have found their happily ever afters and now it’s time for Rocco aka Rafe to finally get his.
Rafe fell in love with Annika ten years ago while they were in college. Torn apart due to their families being enemies. They had to move on. Annika was married. Rocco works within the family business as a killer and a pilot. They have seen each other over the years but they had to avoid one another. That didn’t mean they forgot the way the other made them feel. Loved. Adored. Wanted. Desired. Safe. But they could never be…
Right? F*ck that. Annika was lived through hell over the last ten years and it was time to get her life back. But first, it was time to kick some ass, and take some names. With Rafe on her side. A man who never stopped loving her. But can she get over her insecurities of being damaged goods?
I ♥️them!! I have loved this whole series. These friends and family are protective, sweet, badass, swoony, and sexy. Annika’s badassness was unexpected from the woman I met in the first book. She is messing around. And Rafe…yum!! Such a romantic. *swoon*. The writing is addictive. There are definitely some twists I didn’t see coming and I love that!
He lifts his bag off the floor and follows me up the stairs. I can feel his eyes on my ass. He always did have a thing for my behind. “It’s just a butt, Rafe.”
“A grade-A one,” he agrees, his voice filled with a grin.
God, I missed flirting with him.
“They’re all going to pay,” Annika says and turns back to me. Her mind is made up. I’ve never seen her this…fierce.
It’s a fucking turn-on.
“A man should have to earn this, A. And I just have to say, if you were hot then, and you were, you’re beyond my wildest dreams now.”

Release Day Blitz – Foes & Cons, Carrie Aarons

April 30, 2021 | Posted in Release Day Blitz, Review | By

Foes & Cons by Carrie Aarons is now live!

Sawyer Roarke was my best friend.

Growing up, our families were inseparable. We spent summers vacationing at the beach. In the school yard, it was us against the world. Then puberty hit, and we skated the thin line of staying buddies, or becoming more.

Until I accidentally found the pros and cons list he made about whether or not to date me. And there were definitely more bullet points on the no side. Acting out of rage and hurt, I embarrassed him in the most public way possible. Now, we’re enemies.

We’ve spent the last two years tearing each other to pieces. Everyone knows that Blair and Sawyer hate the ground the other walks on, and unfortunately, I got the unpopular end of the stick while he became Mr. Prom King.

Until senior year starts, and I’m tired of running scared. For the first time ever, I stand up to the golden boy with the whip-smart tongue. As the challenges and dares pick up speed, hearts start to fall and feelings get entangled. Despite my initial discovery, I wonder if being caught by each other wouldn’t be so bad.

Except Sawyer has no idea what I found all those years ago. And if the truth comes out about why I pitted us against each other, not only will he add one more con to his list … but he can add my broken heart as well.

Sandra's Review

5 out of 5 stars

Foes & Cons is Carrie Aarons’s newest standalone novel. I have read most of Carrie’s books and have loved them all but this one might just be my favorite! I love bully romances and this is one but one the lighter side of dark ones. It’s the perfect blend of bully and sweet. The synopsis is awesome so I will make this short. Ok, if you follow my reviews…I see you rolling your eyes. Lol
Sawyer and Blair have been best friends since well…forever. Their dads are business partners and best friends. They have been together for every holiday, celebration, and losses. Then at sixteen, it all changed in one night. It started with the pros and cons list and ended with seven minutes in Heaven. A few weeks later, they were enemies. Everyone in school knew it. It was not a hidden secret but what was a secret was the reason for the broken friendship. And now, after two years of torture, pranks, and evil eyes it was coming to a head…
Blair was not going to cower anymore. She was done. It was their senior year and she wasn’t going to let her asshole ex-best friend ruin it. She changed over the summer and her confidence was at an all-time high. She hated the distance between them but just because he made her weak in the knees she wasn’t going to let him walk all over her. She was over it until it was all too much.
Sawyer has always been confused about his feelings towards his best friend turned nemesis. You know what they say about that thin line between love and hate. He was there right on it. Will this year be the year he crosses the line? Will he destroy them forever or go for it?
Ok…I am rolling my eyes too. I can’t help it!! This book is addicting. It has the perfect mix of angst, lust, love, and hate. I wanted to slap Sawyer then hug him. The ass. I love Blair, she comes into her own and takes names. Together, I felt the connection between them. The tension too. Good and bad. Yum!
“I told you I wasn’t playing around. You want this to stop? Fade into the background, like you were meant to do. Or I’ll take everything you love about this school and this town.”
“I’m not waiting until midnight.”
“We don’t need to know how to tango. I can read your body like my favorite book,” he whispers in my ear, so low that the hundreds of other people in the gym don’t hear.

Release Day Blitz & Review – Could Have Been Us, Corinne Michaels

April 27, 2021 | Posted in Release Day Blitz | By

Could Have Been Us by Corinne Michaels is now live!

New York Times Bestselling author Corinne Michaels returns to the Willow Creek Valley Series in this stunning small town, brother’s best friend romance.

Fifteen years ago, I fell for Jack O’Donnell. I was just a girl, but I knew my brother’s best friend was the only man I’d ever love. On my eighteenth birthday, when I asked him to kiss me, I never imagined it would change my life so completely. I gave Jack everything that night. In order to move on, we had to go our separate ways and pretend like nothing happened… as though it wasn’t the greatest moment of my life. But even that wasn’t as heartbreaking as the secret we were forced to keep. I’ve tried not to think about how much I still love him. How I long to be back in his strong arms or the way his hazel eyes make my heart race. Until he kisses me again. And this time there’s no turning back. This time I know what it means. We belong together and there’s no use denying it any longer. But our feelings aren’t the only thing that won’t stay buried, our past resurfaces and threatens to destroy our second chance at happiness. When our love is tested once again, will we be strong enough to stand together?

5 out of 5 stars

Could Have Been Us is the second book in the Willow Creek Valley series by Corinne Michaels. You can read each book as standalone but I highly recommend reading them in order. If you read Return to Us then you got a glimpse into Jack and Stella’s story. If not, then go now! I have to make this short so I don’t accidentally spoil anything.
Fifteen years ago Stella Parkerson fell in love with her older brother’s best friend. Twelve years ago he made her birthday wish come true with a kiss. A kiss that changed them. For twelve years they have been fighting their feelings. Fighting what could have been. Holding onto their secrets. Now, the fight is over. One more kiss is all they needed. It’s a whirlwind from that moment. Everything is changing once again, can they handle it or will it break them for good?
Omg!! I knew this book was going to be good but damn. It was a rollercoaster from beginning to end. I love these two. And her family is everything. They are all unique in their own ways and that’s why I love them. I can’t wait for the next book. The next Parkerson is about to fall to his knees.
“You taste like sin, and touching you makes me the devil, but I can’t stop.”
“Don’t,” I beg.
Oh, I like this caveman feel to my man. That’s right, Jack, fight him.
“You want to get lost in the woods with me?”
I shudder. “Not unless the woods come with turndown and room service.”
Jack laughs. “I’ll turn you on.”

April 27, 2021 | Posted in Release Day Blitz, Review | By

Mafia King, an all new 1,001 Dark Nights standalone novella in the Mafia Royals Series from New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken is available now!

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken comes a new story in her Mafia Royals series…

One of the first rules they give you when you’re undercover—never fall for the enemy. I didn’t just fall for the enemy. I became what I was supposed to hate. What’s worse: I fell in love with one. I live a double life, and both sides know it’s only a matter of time before I’m forced to choose. Rebirth through mafia blood. Or death at the hands of the very government I swore to protect. I have one more job before my time’s up. I just wish it was anything but babysitting a mafia princess who’s half my size but knows how to pack such a brutal punch I worry about my ability to have children. Tin’s small but terrifying. And I’m her new bodyguard while we all go on a much-needed vacation. I just have to stick to the plan. And remember rule number one. And stop kissing her.

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you’ll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

5 out of 5 stars

Mafia King is a novella in the Mafia Royals series by Rachel Van Dyken. Rachel is the queen of mafia and I’m addicted to this series! This is Tank and Kartina’s story! Tank didn’t start out as part of the family. He was FBI but now he’s working both sides. It’s almost time for him to choose and you know, Blood In, No Out. He has one last job, guard Kartini, or Tiny. He’s known her for a while and it’s pretty clear she hates him. But you know what they say about love and hate. Turns out she doesn’t hate him at all, it’s more of an annoying crush! Now they are sleeping in the same hotel suite and trying to behave. Tank swore to protect her at all costs and he isn’t about to disappoint Sergio, her father. He knows how that story ends. Will Tank and Tiny make it out alive or will they kill each other? Oh man! I loved this story! I’ve loved Tank since we met him and he lived up to all my expectations and more! Kartini is freaking hilarious and just the woman for him! Can’t wait to find out who’s next!

Mafia King is a novella in the Mafia Royals series by Rachel Van Dyken. You can read it as standalone but I highly recommend reading the the series so you are caught up with the mafia royalty.
Tank’s life changed when he went undercover for the FBI to get closer to the Five Families. He wanted to take them down while getting closer to the college-aged princes and princesses of the families. What he didn’t expect was to like them. Understand them. And wanting to protect them especially her. Kartini aka Tiny.
Kartini didn’t want or need a babysitter but he was always there. Tank De Lange. FBI informant. It wasn’t a secret. He was toeing the line and had to choose where his loyalty lied. She wanted to hate him for being the enemy. In truth, she had a crush on him. But , they could never be. Her father would kill him. Sergio was her hero but he would shoot Tank if he ever hurt his princess. Would the risk be worth it? One little kiss wouldn’t hurt, right?
Blood in, No out.
I have been waiting for the book and it was soooo worth the wait. Tiny is badass wrapped up in a delicate package. Tank is delicious and more than just a man living a double life. I can’t wait for the next book!
Two weeks in hell.
Two weeks with Satan’s mistress.
Two weeks left, and my fate with the mafia would be decided.
I just hoped I survived the cursed princess.
He always looked at me that way—with both annoyance and need.
“Cold-hearted Abandonato girls…” Maksim just shook his head. “The only females that terrify me.”
Izzy waved at him.
He paled and looked away.

Release Day Blitz & Review -Reckless, Adriana Locke

April 26, 2021 | Posted in Release Day Blitz, Review | By

Reckless, an all-new sexy and playful standalone romance in the Mason Family series from USA Today bestselling author Adriana Locke is available now!

“How did you get in here?”

That’s not what you want to hear when you’re staring into the sea-green eyes of the hottest man you’ve ever seen. Yet I suppose it’s a fair question, considering I’m an uninvited stranger standing in Boone Mason’s kitchen.

If you think that’s bad—just wait. It gets worse.

This charming and wealthy playboy, who can’t pay his bills on time or find his way to the grocery store (but we all have flaws, right?), is sweet. Confident. Playful. He’s almost perfect. And, to make matters worse …

He’s smitten with me.

I know what you’re thinking. You’re rolling your eyes. You’re assuming this is some opposites attract situation—or that maybe we can be friends who turn into something more.

How can this be a bad thing?

Well, it’s simple. I’m not the kind of girl you fall in love with. Just to be sure, the universe reminds me of that in an unforgettable, in-your-face kind of way.

I might have broken into Boone’s house, but I won’t let him break my heart. I won’t break his either. There’s too much on the line to be that reckless.

5 out of 5 stars

Reckless is the third book in the Mason Family series by Adriana Locke. You can read each book as standalone but I recommend reading the series since they are all tied together by family. And what a family it is! They are hilarious, supportive, and sweet in their own ways. This is Boone’s story…
He thought he was about to either be murdered or have a naked woman waiting in his bed. His mind was a mess when he got a call that a woman was climbing into his bedroom window when he wasn’t home. Who he didn’t expect was her. A stranger who brought him to his knees with one look. She was no murderer but she could very well break his heart if she didn’t give him the time of day. Turns out she will be living very close to him for the next week. He is charming but is he charming enough to get her to believe that he isn’t just some bachelor who was playing games?
Jaxi isn’t the type to fall in love. She wasn’t the girl who believed in fairy tales. That was her cousin. The one she was house sitting for. Soon, she would be gone and the man who says he is likes her will be gone too. She was a hot mess and didn’t make plans for the future. She did that and look where it landed her. But what if?…
I really can’t say anything more. I can say that Boone is hilarious, sweet, and way more than just a playboy who hates to work. And Jaxi is stronger than she believes. I enjoyed their story soooo much. It’s adorable, flirty, funny and full of family. I am looking forward to the next book.
“If I get murdered, I fully expect you to sing hymns at my funeral,” I say. “Make it sappy and super over-the-top, or I’ll haunt you.”  “You’re not getting murdered, dumbass. Settle down.”
“We’re going to have fun, aren’t we?”
He tastes like cinnamon and syrup. Heat and spice. Passion and hunger.
