I’m Your Guy is the second book in the Hockey Guys series by Sarina Bowen. I was so happy when I found out we were getting another book in the series and Tommaso and Carter stole my heart! I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook and Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan (who are two of my favorite narrators and the first m/m duo I ever listened to) were freaking fantastic! Tommaso has an empty house that he needs to furnish and he hates shopping. When he runs into Carter, a designer, totally by accident, it seems like fate. He can hire Carter and not have to shop. Score! But the more time he spends with Carter, the more he likes him. And not just as a nice guy, he likes him likes him. But he’s not out. He can’t even think about what would happen to his career and his life. But the closer they get, the more Tommaso realizes he needs to live his life the way he wants. And he wants to be happy and be himself. He becomes friends with Newgate and sees how happy he is and he’s not pretending to be something he’s not. But can Tommaso make the leap? For himself? For Carter? Carter has never met anyone like Tommaso. But he’s a famous hockey player and he’s straight. Right? Not if that hot kiss is any indication. But he’s working for him and he can’t afford to lose his job. He just has to stop looking at his abs of glory and focus on his job. He loves the way Tommaso takes care of him, but he can’t fall for another guy who’s unavailable. But if Tommaso’s going to put it all on the line, Carter can too! Holy moly! I love them so much! They were so funny and sexy and fun together. I loved seeing some of the guys from the first book and of course Newgate and Gavin and am hoping there will be more in the series!
