He saw her from across a crowded ballpark and knew she was about to change his life.
Yes, he realizes just how cliché that really is, but the moment his eyes locked on her, he knew that she was the one.
At least, the one that royally screwed him over. The one responsible for his demotion and the subsequent disciplinary action taken against him before he’d even gotten out of the probationary period with Kilgore Police Department.

It all started with a kiss.
Saylor Rae Spada tried to mind her business. She also tried to not get involved in petty disputes.
However, from the moment she saw him sitting next to her at a professional baseball game, a game she didn’t even want to be at but was dragged to by her blind date, she couldn’t look away.
Then the kiss cam came on, featuring none other than her and the handsome stranger.
Without missing a beat, he kissed her.
Then her blind date decided to pull a knife and try to stab him.
From that point forward, she’s done nothing but cause him trouble.
Trouble that he’s starting to find increasingly adorable.

Kara's Review

5 out of 5 stars

Sinners are Winners is the fifth book in the KDP Motorcycle Patrol series by talented and hilarious Lani Lynn Vale. This series is so fantastic! I love every character and every book becomes my new favorite of the series. We’ve met Lock before and he’s delicious and funny and a red head. I love me some red heads! I didn’t have the pleasure of reading the KDP SWAT or the Dixie Wardens series’ so I hadn’t known of Saylor and Lock before this. But, I wasn’t lost at all and it just made me want to go back and learn their parents’ stories! It’s pretty much love at first sight for Lock. He sees her and he just knows. Then a kiss cam gives him his opportunity and he goes for it. Then he finds himself fighting her jerkface date and getting demoted and moved to the new motorcycle patrol unit. Six months later he sees her again and he knows it’s fate. He isn’t letting her get away this time. He didn’t realize she was the maker of the best cake he’s ever had or that Justice knows her. That makes it even better. Their relationship moves pretty fast and I loved that they didn’t waste time. When you know, you just know. But it’s not without obstacles and dangerous situations. I love a little suspense in my romance! I also loved that we get to see their parents, who are effing hilarious! It also runs along the same timeline as the other books in the series, so we get to see the men we fell in love with and their women. I loved Lock and Saylor’s mutual lust and love for each other. There’s more steaminess and sexiness and it’s hot! Lock is hot, sexy and sweet. That body, my Lord! And I think Saylor might be my favorite heroine from the series! She’s smart, mouthy and sassy and doesn’t let anyone walk all over her. She also loves to eat and is comfortable in her own skin. Lock loves her curves and loves to feed her. His sweet little gestures had be swooning and fanning myself. Overall, I laughed, got hot and bothered and loved every word. I didn’t want to stop reading after I started it and I almost wished I had slowed down and savored it more!

“This is a nightmare. I’m so fucking hot right now.”

Saylor’s eyes swept up the length of me before settling on my face.

“If it makes you feel better, you look fucking hot as hell.”

“I’ve wanted to peel that dress off you since I saw you in it before the wedding. So the feeling’s mutual, I guess.”

“That was the best thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. You should come with a warning label. Warning: this man gives good orgasms. Stay twenty feet away at all times.”

And those pants. Holy shit. The pants, paired with the tight shirt that showed off an impressive chest?

Yeah, that was definitely something I needed a picture of later, you know, for educational purposes later.
