You can read each book as standalone but I highly recommend reading the series since they are connected by friendship. Each co-owner of Burgers and Brew have different personalities that make them unique in their own swoony, sweet, and sexy ways. This is Numbers’s story and I am so here for it. It is always the quiet ones…
Isaac definitely wasn’t looking for any kind of relationship after his on and off girlfriend of three years breaks up with him. Again. Then saw her in his bar, volunteering to work for their open house of their new brewery. He never saw her as anything more than his friend Jameson’s sister but that night, he saw her. Like really saw her and she was beautiful, sweet, sassy, and sexy AF. Then she went home and so did he. Well, so he thought until he saw her truck on the side of the road. He offers to take her home since he is such a gentleman. He seriously had no idea that it would change everything.
There was something about Isaac that night that made BJ look twice at the man. Sure, she knew him but they weren’t close. He totally wasn’t her type. Pressed shirts didn’t turn her on but on him then? It got her going. It was the man behind the ties. And that night at her house was so unexpected and hot AF. He saw her. She saw him. But, they both didn’t want more. He was fresh off a relationship and she wasn’t ready for one. Casual and fun was all they can give plus Jameson would kill him. No way of a future anyway, he was into spreadsheets while she was into tattoos and piercings.
Isaac and BJ may not seem like an obvious choice for each other but their chemistry is off the charts! Over the weeks they get to know each other and it’s more than expected but can it be more than casual and fun? Are they still on the same page or in different chapters all together?
I absolutely loved these characters! I have been waiting for Numbers’s story and it was so worth the wait. BJ is the perfect badass for his heart. Together, they are so much fun and unexpected in all the ways. I loved catching up with the crüe and meeting even more characters that I hope to see more of in the future. Hint, hint, Lacey!
