I hated that I found myself attracted to him. Especially since I was supposed to be on a self-imposed dating hiatus. Yet the two of us couldn’t seem to stay away from each other. We started hanging out, as friends. I even went as far as making rules for what he’d dubbed our “undates.”
But eventually, our explosive attraction became too much to bear, and we broke our resolve. I let my guard down and started to really fall for Colby.
Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over.
All good things must come to an end, right?
Except our ending was one I didn’t see coming.

The Rules of Dating is the newest standalone by one of my favorite duos, Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward. I just know when I open their books I am not going to want to put it down and this one is no different. If you follow my reviews then you know I don’t read blurbs unless it’s a new-to-me author until I am about to review. I do this so I don’t spoil anything, this blurb is amazing so I will make it fast.
Billie and Colby have been burned in the past, relationship wise. Billie was actually on fire on the night she meets Colby at her tattoo shop so it was the cutest meet-cute but it is an unforgettable one. Neither one of them could stop thinking about it but it was not the time to date so they decide to go on undates. Errands. Adulting. Hanging out with others. All innocent. Friends totally think of their friends naked, right? Yep. One-hundred percent. Will their undates turn into real dates?
I don’t want to get too far into the storyline but I can say it’s adorable, flirting, sexy, beautiful and in Vi and Penelope fashion, there is an oh, fuck moment. Those always get my heart going and I am here for it. I can also say that I love these characters! Billie a badass boss lady. Colby is a sweet hottie in a three-piece suit. I also have crushes on his three friends. I definitely have my favorite and I am sure Kara (blog partner) knows exactly who 🤣.
Overall… GO READ THE BOOK! You will love it. Hard.
