The Secret is the first novel in the Single in Seattle series by Kristen Proby. There is a FREE prequel to the series called The Surprise so make sure to one-click it. You don’t have to read it since each book is standalone but why not start at the beginning, right? If you started from the very, very beginning like me and read the With Me in Seattle, you are going to absolutely love the start of the next generation books. Olivia’s family is full of celebrities. She was now twenty-five and in the business of Hollywood herself as a costume designer for her dad’s production company in Seattle. Her parents, Luke and Natalie didn’t want to raise their children in the LA scene. No paps, no red carpets, no glitz and glam. Luke lived the Hollywood life and want a more normal life. They had family, friends, and so much love. Olivia loved her job, it is her passion, her love, her joy. Many of the celebrities she worked with were wonderful hen he walked into her life. Vaughn Barrymore. A cocky, jerky actor who set her body on fire… Vaughn’s family is celebrity royalty. Generations of actors and actress. He was used to the Hollywood lifestyle including absentee parents. He had family connections but he worked his ass off to get to where he was and right now he was in Seattle. In front of a woman who he instantly wanted. And he knew once he had her once wouldn’t be enough except she had other plans… She shouldn’t want him. His life was everything her father warned her about. He was used to being followed and she was used to her privacy. She didn’t even use her father’s last name as a professional. They are so much fun, hot AF, sweet, and swoony. Vaughn with his goddaughter just made me melt. Then his hair pulling skills made me want to make babies with him. Lol. I am so excited about the rest of this series! P.S. Make sure to read the bonus scene! Quotes: “I thought you were being completely unprofessional and wasting my time.” He sweeps a piece of my hair off my cheek. “And then you just stood up for yourself and put me in my place. I’ve never been so turned on in my life.” He brushes his hands through my hair and kisses me, soft and slow, like an old-fashioned love song. “For fuck’s sake, Liv, why do you want me incarcerated?”
