Everyone knows the girl is off limits. But it’s so good to be bad.
There’s this girl…
Heidi and I have been trading hungry looks all year, and everything she does makes me smile. But I don’t do girlfriends, and I certainly can’t get involved with the league commissioner’s daughter. I need shots on goal, not a hookup and a widely misunderstood paparazzi photo.
Can I resist her, though? The way she teases me should be a game penalty for interference with my libido.
There’s this guy…
Jason wants me, but he won’t admit it. That man looks at me the way a hockey player eyes the lunch buffet after practice–and I love it.
But when victory is finally within my grasp, I blow it and humiliate myself. Even then I can’t even avoid him–as the team intern, I’m in constant view of his hard body and cocky smile.
I need another chance. Jason Castro is about to learn the true meaning of an overnight sensation.
Ok, I haven’t read all of the Brooklyn Bruisers books, but I will be now. I listened to Brooklynaire on audio and I feel in love with Jason Castro! At the end, when he finds out Rebecca is with Nate and he says “What the fuck.” I knew he was my man! I also met and fell in love with Heidi Jo! She’s a kick ass, classy southern belle! There has been a sizzling attraction between Jason and Heidi for a while and she’s had just enough tequila to make her move! Unfortunately, it doesn’t work out the way she wants (cue the laugh out loud hilarity) and when he finds out she’s the league commissioners daughter, she’s hands off. Or is she? Jason can’t stay away from her, so when Heidi makes another move it’s game on! He swears he never does repeats, but he can’t stop thinking about Hot Pepper and her sassy southern accent. She’s pretty much ruling the world with her side business helping the team, being an intern wherever they need her and struggling to be her own woman away from her daddy. Can this sexy, sweet, smart, poetry quoting hockey god and the southern, charm school girl make it work? I loved this story! So much! Jason stole my heart in the last book and I just kept falling and falling. He’s fun, smart, talented, dedicated, loyal and sexy as hell! He bows down to little miss Heidi Jo and I loved her tenacity, stubbornness and smarts. I kinda want to be Heidi Jo when I grow up! Overall, I laughed, cried, had to fan myself, swooned and wanted more Jason! I can’t wait for the next in the series!
But they didn’t prepare me or this situation. Dear Jason, I’m sorry I got senior-prom-drunk and then begged you for nookie.
She lifts and hand and shows me her…pinky finger. What does that mean? I ask as I finally catch up to her.
“It means I want to give you the finger but I’m too polite.”
Po-laht. There’s that word again. I want to know how polite she’ll look when she’s naked in my arms, begging me to let her come.
She’s like a beam of sunshine. And my cloudy ass could really use some of that.
“The way you look at me is illegal is seven states. You’ll look but you won’t touch?”
“That’s right,” he says primly.
“I’m a gentleman.”
Jason kisses the way he plays hockey. The minute our mouths align, he’s all attack and control. It’s sublime.
“Heidi. Will you share your ice cream with me? Fantastic sex makes me hungry. And then will you share my bed, so I can hold you all night long?”
