Bad Intentions, the first book in the all-new compelling age-gap romance and first book in the Intentions Duet from USA Today bestselling author Ella Frank available now!

My name isn’t Logan Mitchell, but Marcus St. James doesn’t know that…

When I showed up at my roommate’s work party, the last thing I expected was to find a man straight out of my dreams. But when the crowd parted and the fates aligned, there he was, waiting for me. Marcus St. James, president of ENN WorldWide News.

Sexy and powerful, with a stare that could freeze you in place, Marcus was the perfect reward for securing a job at Mitchell & Madison, the best law firm in Chicago. To play with the big fish, however, one must become a big fish, and that’s where my little white lie began.

It was one night. I was never going to see him again, and from the second we spoke, I knew he was interested. It was there in his eyes, the same fire in my veins. It was there in his voice, whenever he said my name.

The only problem? It wasn’t my name, and now I wanted more—much more.

But how can anything good come out of something that started with such bad intentions?

5 out of 5 stars

Bad Intentions is the first book in the Intentions duet by Ella Frank. It’s a spin-off to both the Prime Time and the Temptation series. The series can be read without reading those series but I do recommend reading them at some point if you haven’t since they are f*cking amazing!!

Gabe needed this job. Badly. An assistant to one of the best lawyers in the city, shoot in the US was exactly what he needed. Mitchell & Madison would help him get back on his feet. And when Logan hires him he is excited and in shock and ready to celebrate. He didn’t think celebrating with his roommate at a work party would change his life so dramatically but it brings him in front of the sexiest man he has ever seen. Marcus St. James.

Marcus hated these things. Parties. He would rather be home or working in his office. News never stops. But when someone invades his personal space in the corner he claimed he had no idea how much that man would affect him. The man was charming, bold, and sinfully sexy. One night. He deserved it, right? It was a night to celebrate so why not with Logan Mitchell, a man who turned head like nobody else.

It was supposed to be a one-off until they see each other again. What will happen when Marcus finds out his Logan was actually a Gabe?

Damn…this book is sizzling! I love Gabe. He doesn’t back down and is hilarious! He knows exactly how to push Marcus’s buttons in the best of ways. And Marcus is a serious man with a secret sweet and witty side. I love them together and can’t wait for the next part of their story.

Quotes:

“Who did you come with tonight?”
A wicked grin tugged at the corner of his lips. “No one, yet. But the night’s still young.”

“Look,” Logan said. “I think it’s about time that you met the real me, and basically—”
“The real him has no filter,” Tate said.
“I was going to put it more delicately than that.”
“Then you would’ve been lying,” Tate said, and I had to bite back a laugh.

“Mr. St. James, I’m starting to think you have a penchant for getting up to trouble in risky places.”
“I think I have a penchant for getting in trouble with you.”

Bad Intentions is the first book in the Intentions series by the fabulous Ella Frank. Oh! A new series where we get to meet a new character and see a few old ones we love. When I met Marcus St. James, I desperately wanted to know his story and Ella is giving it to us and giving it good! Gabe is just tagging along with his best friend to his work party. He never thought he’d see the sexiest man in a killer suit. There’s no harm walking right up to him and making his intentions clear. Even if he does tell Marcus he’s Logan Mitchell, Gabe’s new boss. One hot encounter was all it was supposed to be, but the little lie comes back to bite him. He has to fix it or he loses his job. Marcus isn’t so easy to forgive but he has the perfect plan for Gabe to pay him back. He just didn’t realize how his life was going to change. Holy moly! Ella, you are the queen. I couldn’t love your characters more and although Logan and Tate do make an appearance, they are just the icing on the Gabe and Marcus cake. I couldn’t put it down, but I wanted to read it slowly so I could savor it. The lust, the foreplay, the fun. I loved how Gabe is just so carefree and confident but also mature and responsible. Just what Marcus needed to  help him loosen up. Marcus is so serious and dedicated, but when he lets down his guard his laughter and smile are a thing of beauty. Gab is fun, sexy and goes after what he wants. I love these two and I can’t wait for more of their story!
