Dover comes the crossover fans having been waiting for! Beloved characters from
her Armed & Dangerous and Circle of Justice novels come together in this
tantalizing new series!
For years, my family was on top.
Ruthless.
Respected.
Feared.
That all changed with the death of my father. As I moved into the position of
power over the Corsino empire, enemies to the family tried to take over my
city. They thought I would be weakened by my loss. They don’t know me.

My name is Dominic Corsino, and I have a ravenous appetite for money, power,
and women. The last of which I pushed aside when Faith Hilliard, a close family
friend, turned up in need of help. I’ve always wanted her, yet couldn’t bring
myself to involve her in the dark savagery of my world. Now, she’s within my
grasp once more. If I didn’t fear her running from my brutal truth, I would
have already tasted her sweet temptation.

But the time for hesitation passes when a fighter in my underground ring is murdered.
With my family name at stake, I can no longer hide who I am and what I’m
capable of. It’s all coming down to a one winner-takes-all match. If I walk
away with the prize, the threats against the Corsinos will be crushed. If I
lose, our entire empire will crumble.

It’s a dangerous game … and I’m ready to play.

Sandra's Review

5 out of 5 stars

Dangerous Game is a crossover of L.P Dover’s Armed & Dangerous and Circle of Justice series’ with a twist of Groves Off. I have read all three so I knew it was going to be full of alpha males and sexy times. You can totally read as a standalone as well. If you read In the Crossfire then you have met Dominic as Layla’s brother and Faith as Layla’s best friend.
Dominic has always had a thing for his sister’s best friend but it was never the right time to make his move. He didn’t want her involved with the way his life was going along side his father. And, she married a douchebag during this time as well. Now, it was a different story. His father was gone and his family was going legit and she was divorcing the rat bastard. He wasn’t sure how she felt about him and his family ties to the mafia but he wasn’t about to just let her go without finding out.
Faith was always intrigued by her best friend’s older brother. She also had a feeling Layla’s family was hiding something and now it was all out in open she wasn’t about to go anywhere. Especially when Dominic invites her to stay with him at the family’s hotel while she gets her life together post-divorce. She was never nervous around Dominic even with his dark stare. She saw the softer side of the man in a three piece suit with power surrounding him.
Dominic and Faith might have a connection but will it be enough when it comes down to it? They can finally open up and be together but others have other plans for them. With Dominic’s father and uncles out of the picture others will see that as weakness in the family. The Corsino family was on top and Dominic will do anything to keep it that way. Will Faith stay by his side or will it be too much?
Overall…It’s a wild ride full of heat, fight, love, family, and suspense. I loved every minute of it. I can’t wait for the next book!
Quotes:
“He’s going to pay for it. I may be a Chandler now, but I was born a Corsino. It may be time I use it to my advantage.”
“I just think it’s time someone showed you what you’ve been missing.”
“You have no idea how long I’ve waited for this,” he murmured, breaking the kiss.
I sucked in a breath. “Probably as long as I have.”
