Hallows End is the first book in the The Curse of the Blood Moon by Kristen Proby. I loved her Bayou Magic series so I was so excited when she announced that she was writing another paranormal series. If you read Serendipity then you have met Lucy, our first witch in the series to fall…

Lucy is a green witch, no she isn’t green, her magic is with plants and flowers. She has strong magic on top of that. She also owns an apothecary in Salem. Her aunts and cousins have a long history in the town and all have magical powers. The month of October is crazy busy with Samhain fast approaching. It’s a celebrating and a curse at the same time. It’s expected to have some unusual things happen around this time but what Lucy didn’t expect was him. A man walking in the woods behind her home. A man who shows up later in her shop. A man who has a pull of her like no other.

Jonas has never felt anything like it. The connection to Lucy is undeniable. A connection that blew his mind. She was beautiful, sweet, smart, and witty. She was also in danger. They both were. They just didn’t know from who or what yet. Jonas needed to save a town and Lucy needed to save her family. It wasn’t the best timing for love but when is it ever?

I really can’t get into the story but I can say I loved it! It’s a magical beginning to a new series that I am sure to totally fall in love with. These characters are badass, fun, beautiful and I can’t wait for the next book!! This couple is going to be explosive.
