Synopsis:

I joined the team at Jameson Force Security three months ago and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. Leaving behind the Marine Corps together, my dog Omega and I made the cross-country trek to Pittsburgh for an exciting new career. Now I get to spend my days doing dangerous missions with my team and Omega gets to spend his days relaxing, unless there are explosives to be sniffed, and then he’s all paws on deck.

When Omega—who I affectionately refer to as Bubba—snacks on something he most definitely shouldn’t have, an emergency trip to the vet introduces me to Abigail Blackburn. She’s a little quirky, a lot smart, and completely captivating. She also has a penchant for trouble and when Abby makes it her own personal mission to expose the puppy mill industry, she finds herself mixed up with unsavory characters who aren’t happy with her efforts to cut into their profits

This seedy underbelly is a dangerous place, particularly for a well-intentioned, yet somewhat naïve, small-town vet. What began as peaceful protests outside of local pet stores has escalated into something that threatens Abby’s safety, and I refuse to sit by and watch her get hurt. Somehow this raven-haired beauty has gotten under my skin, and I don’t hesitate to call in my teammates at Jameson to help keep her safe.

Now I find myself trying to balance my need to protect Abby while helping her successfully complete her mission, but also redirecting her focus long enough to show her that I’ve completely fallen for her. One thing is certain—this is going to be my toughest assignment yet.

5 out of 5 stars

Code Name: Omega is the tenth book in the Jameson Force Security series by Sawyer Bennett. I am obsessed with this series. You can read each book as standalone but the whole series is just fantastic. Each couple is so unique and their meet-cutes are epic.
Kellen McCord is the newest member of Jameson Force Security. He moved from California three months ago with his dog, Omega who also goes by Bubba. Both Bubba and his owner were in the Marines together. Bubba is retired and now Kellen has started fresh with Jameson and is closer to his parents. What he didn’t expect when he took his dog to the vet one day after coming off a mission was to meet her. A woman who captivated him from the start.
Abby wasn’t looking for love. Her love was saving animals. It was her passion and she was going to take down the puppy mill in town. Then he walks in. A sexy man who loves his dog, who had tattoos, and made her swoon. Don’t you worry, she doesn’t forget about the puppy mill. She is more determined than ever to take them down. And when Kellen, a man who hasn’t even kissed her yet wants to protect her, she knows he is going to change her life forever.
This might be my favorite Jameson book! I mean dogs, come on. Ok, the sexy man and the badass woman who captivated him got to me too. Lol. I loved the storyline, the characters, catching up with the group, and of course the dogs. Kellen and Abby’s connection is felt from start to finish. I am not sure if this is the end of the series but I am so hoping that it’s not.
Quotes:
“If you’re looking for me to be the good little girl and accept your gentlemanly offer to slow down, you’re kissing the wrong girl.”
“You’re a regular Boy Scout.”
“The things I want to do to you they don’t teach in the Boy Scouts.”
“Can’t wait to see what you’ve got.”
I can tell that Abby Blackburn is definitely going to be trouble, and I’m here for it.

Code Name: Omega is the tenth book in the Jameson Force Security series by Sawyer Bennett. I love this series so much. These characters are family and they are loyal and fun and loving. We met Kellan and his dog in the last one and I knew his story was going to be good. It’s such a breath a fresh air to read a romance where the hero is straightforward. He says what he means and he does what he says he’s going to do. Kellan isn’t wish-washy. He’s instantly attracted to Abby and he says so. He doesn’t play games, he tells her what he wants and isn’t afraid. And guess what? It’s exactly what she wants too! That just made me so happy! Kellan is protective and sexy and fun. And Abby is smart and dedicated to her job and all animals. I love Bubba and Princess. I love seeing all the characters from past books too. Overall, I loved it. I laughed, cheered, smiled and didn’t want it to end.
