Zane and Maggie have been living a lie…

A marriage that’s not really a marriage.
A relationship that’s about as fucked-up as they come.
A secret that’s going to kill them both if they don’t sort their shit out, stat.

And now they’re going on tour with Dirty. As the band’s assistant manager, Maggie knows she has to keep it professional—and keep away from her “husband” on the road.

Zane Traynor, Dirty’s hot-as-hell lead singer.
Womanizing rock star.
A man hellbent on getting Maggie back in his bed.
The one man Maggie knows she can never let herself fall for.
Except that she already has…
And when Zane finds out her feelings for him are real? It’s gonna get dirty.
5 out of 5 stars

Dirty Like Zane is the sixth full-length and final novel in the Dirty series by Jaine Diamond. I have been following this series since the very beginning and have been waiting for this book! And I gotta tell ya…it was so fucking worth the wait. You can read each book as a standalone but I highly recommend at least reading Dirty Like Me before reading this one. It’s a free novella and it’s where Zane and Maggie’s story really begins. At least the last two years of it. I will add the link to the end of the review.

Zane and Maggie are married. It’s a secret that they have been hiding for almost two years. They are not a couple but they are not not a couple either. It’s one fucked up situation. Maggie has been with the band Dirty as an assistant manager for eight years. She has seen Zane at his worst. Drunk. High. Broken. Arrested. In the middle of naked women. And you know what? She still loves him but she can’t go there. She doesn’t trust that he could actually be faithful to their marriage or any marriage in fact. He has been sober for the past seven years but he still isn’t clear-headed. Getting high any chance he gets. Fucking through life. Maybe not as much since saying “I Do” but still, it’s enough to keep her walls up. Even when all Zane wants to do is bring them down.

Yes. The love is definitely there between Zane and Maggie but he needs to prove to her and to himself that he is truly ready to be in a committed relationship. Physically and mentally. Maggie also has her own battles to fight but they can get their shit together. One thing is for sure. They are married and they need to figure out what to fucking do about it. Only a select few know about their Vegas wedding and Maggie is scared about what will happen when the rest of the crew and public find out. They are on a world tour and that makes this either better or worse for them.

Will they end the marriage or start acting like they are in one?

I loved it. It was so Zane and Maggie. The fights. The heat. The banter. The rawness. It was the perfect ending to their story. It was also the perfect ending to the series. I seriously can’t wait for Jaine’s new series. I have love Ash forever and can’t wait for his own story.

I was never gonna give up on what I wanted. And what I wanted was my wife.

“Here we are, eight years in… still standing at the starting line.”

“Holy shit,” I muttered, “you got into character fast…”

The Dirty series is a contemporary rockstar romance series about the members of the rock band Dirty and the women and men who love them.
Novels in the Dirty series are interconnected standalones, each with an HEA; other books (novella/story collection) are not HEA, but are essential pieces of the overall story arcs.
(There are ongoing storylines that develop throughout the series; reading them in order is not crucial but is HIGHLY recommended.)

Jaine Diamond is the author of the Dirty contemporary rockstar romance series, and the DEEP erotic military romance series. She is fond of writing the love stories of built and badass men endowed with massive hearts, and strong, complex women she’d love to have a cocktail with.

She lives in beautiful Vancouver, Canada with her real-life romantic hero (Mr. Diamond) and their little girl, where she reads, writes, and drinks copious amounts of tea.
