From New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author Corinne Michaels, comes a sexy new STANDALONE romance novel.

WE OWN TONIGHT is available now!

I’m not a one-night stand kind of woman. I’m especially not the woman who has a few drinks at a concert and ends up in bed with my childhood celebrity crush, Eli Walsh.

However, that’s exactly where I find myself.

What’s a girl to do after a drunken mistake? Run. I grab my clothes and get away from the powerful, irresistible, and best-sex-of-my-life superstar as fast as I can. His gorgeous green eyes, rock-hard body, and cocky smile have no place in my world. My life is complicated enough.

Someone forgot to tell him that.

Eli is relentless. Pushing his way into my heart, wearing me down, proving he’s nothing like I assumed, and everything I need. But when my world shatters to pieces, he holds the broken bits together. Unwillingly, I fall desperately in love with him.

He made me think we’d have forever . . . I should’ve listened when he said we could only own tonight.

Kara's Review

We Own Tonight is the newest addition to the fabulous Corinne Michaels’ book library. It’s a standalone romance that solidifies that Corinne lives off the tears of her readers. I know before I even open the book that I will cry. Usually more than once or twice. With We Own Tonight, I cried three times before I hit the halfway mark! Now, they are not all sad tears. There are tears of happiness, tears of joy and tears of laughter, too. Corinne always delivers the goods. She’s one of those authors where you just have to trust her. Trust that she’s going to give you what you need. Trust that she’s not going to let you down. Trust that she will eventually lift you back up. This story is different from her others. There’s a whimsical feeling in part of the book. It’s nostalgic and I had serious flashbacks to my childhood. There is also a strong cord of family and friendship that runs throughout the book. Heather is a cop. She’s dependable, responsible and never finds time for herself. Her friends drag her out for a girls’ night and she ends up drinking too much and comes face to face with her childhood crush. Hot damn! Eli Walsh is perfection. He’s over forty (thank you, Corinne!), sexy and talented. There’s something about Heather. He’s rich and famous, but he’s never met anyone like her. She runs, but he’s not going to let her get away. He’s going to use his million dollar smile and his endearing sincerity to win her over. Heather keeps her heart hidden away for a lot of reasons. She doesn’t have time in her life for complications. And Eli Walsh is definitely a complication. As it turns out, he might be the best complication to ever live. Will Heather be able to let down her walls and finally let someone in? Can Eli convince Heather he’s just a regular guy standing in front of a girl asking for a chance? I can’t even express how much I loved this story! It has everything I love in a romance. Fun, sexiness, humor, loss, pain, love, lust, family and friendship. Eli is sexy, funny and romantic. Heather is a beautiful, funny and a kick ass cop! I loved that they are older and wiser! It’s wonderful to read a grown up romance! God never gives you more than you can handle. You just have to be open to accept your fate.

“Then what do you want with me?”

His eyes are open, allowing me to see all his emotions. “More. I want more.”

“And what if you realize I’m not worth more?”

He shakes his head. “What if you’re worth it all?”

My body twists, and I scoff. “You’re not a cop. You play a cop on television.”

“I have a badge.”

“It’s fake.”

Eli reaches across the seat and puts his “badge” on his lap. “Doesn’t look fake to me.”

I roll my eyes. “We both know that’s not real. Also, impersonating a police officer is a crime.”

“Are you going to arrest me?” Eli asks with a coy smile.

“You’re not worth the paperwork.”

Sandra's Review

I have read most of than Corinne’s books. I have loved them all but We Own Tonight is my favorite!! Today was an officially lazy day in my house so I sat and read. And read some more. I know I ate since I am full but I don’t remember when or what since I was so in this book.
It was supposed a girls’ night. One of those nights to let loose with some girlfriends. It doesn’t happen often enough for Heather. A police officer carrying the world on her shoulders. Well…for this one night she let someone else carry her. Straight to his tour bus. And then she ran. She climbed. She couldn’t get away fast enough for his teenage fantasy boy bander turned one night stand. She knew this wasn’t her. She also knew, she would never see him again. Why would someone like Eli Walsh want a woman like her? A thirty-eight year old hot mess. Especially after that embarrassing display of awkwardness.
Eli wanted her. Bad. He thought she would be fun for a spin on the tour bus then he would walk away. But, she was unexpected. She ran when that was always his job. Well…not this time. He was going to be doing the chasing. He had to get to know her. She was different. She didn’t seem real. She was like a dream and he had to find out if she could ever be his reality. He had never done this before but he couldn’t just walk away from her even if that was exactly what she wanted him to do when he sees her again. And again. And again. He just knew there was something special about that girl in the front row.
I am completely in love with Eli and Heather. Eli is sinfully sexy with his wicked grin and wink but he is also sweet, supportive, and funny as fuck. There is more to him than just fame. Something that he has to show Heather. Oh, and I do love her too. She is strong, caring, and beautiful. I know this. Eli knows this. Her sister know this. Her friends know this. But she doesn’t. And Eli was ready to make her believe it and more. That she was everything. But will she let him in? Let him into the messy life she thinks will make him leave.
I thought Corinne did an crazy amazing job with this one. The way Eli and Heather’s relationship develops. The funny ways she tells him she isn’t interested. The way he knows it’s a lie. Their banter is just the best. I not only fell for Eli and Heather but I also fell for other characters as well. Stephanie is kickass. Nicole. Omg! I hope she gets a book! And Heather’s other friends and Eli’s family too. I loved it all. Every last minute of it. Even if she did make me cry.
Overall…It’s my favorite Corinne book! It gave me all of the feels. I laughed hard. Cried just enough. And felt the heat between the pages.
P.S. I am a fan of boy bands. I went to the concerts. I had the dolls. I am actually listening to my man J.T with *Nysnc while I write this review.
Quotes:
“Start talking before I get my Taser.”
“I’d rather you get the cuffs.” He winks and walks deeper into my living room.
“I’m giving you my truth,” he interjects softly. “All I’m asking for is a little of yours.”
Me: Thinking of me?
Heather: Oh my God! You did not save your number under the name God’s Gift to Women!
