Could Have Been Us is the second book in the Willow Creek Valley series by Corinne Michaels. You can read each book as standalone but I highly recommend reading them in order. If you read Return to Us then you got a glimpse into Jack and Stella’s story. If not, then go now! I have to make this short so I don’t accidentally spoil anything.
Fifteen years ago Stella Parkerson fell in love with her older brother’s best friend. Twelve years ago he made her birthday wish come true with a kiss. A kiss that changed them. For twelve years they have been fighting their feelings. Fighting what could have been. Holding onto their secrets. Now, the fight is over. One more kiss is all they needed. It’s a whirlwind from that moment. Everything is changing once again, can they handle it or will it break them for good?
Omg!! I knew this book was going to be good but damn. It was a rollercoaster from beginning to end. I love these two. And her family is everything. They are all unique in their own ways and that’s why I love them. I can’t wait for the next book. The next Parkerson is about to fall to his knees.

Mafia King is a novella in the Mafia Royals series by Rachel Van Dyken. Rachel is the queen of mafia and I’m addicted to this series! This is Tank and Kartina’s story! Tank didn’t start out as part of the family. He was FBI but now he’s working both sides. It’s almost time for him to choose and you know, Blood In, No Out. He has one last job, guard Kartini, or Tiny. He’s known her for a while and it’s pretty clear she hates him. But you know what they say about love and hate. Turns out she doesn’t hate him at all, it’s more of an annoying crush! Now they are sleeping in the same hotel suite and trying to behave. Tank swore to protect her at all costs and he isn’t about to disappoint Sergio, her father. He knows how that story ends. Will Tank and Tiny make it out alive or will they kill each other? Oh man! I loved this story! I’ve loved Tank since we met him and he lived up to all my expectations and more! Kartini is freaking hilarious and just the woman for him! Can’t wait to find out who’s next!

Mafia King is a novella in the Mafia Royals series by Rachel Van Dyken. You can read it as standalone but I highly recommend reading the the series so you are caught up with the mafia royalty.
Tank’s life changed when he went undercover for the FBI to get closer to the Five Families. He wanted to take them down while getting closer to the college-aged princes and princesses of the families. What he didn’t expect was to like them. Understand them. And wanting to protect them especially her. Kartini aka Tiny.
Kartini didn’t want or need a babysitter but he was always there. Tank De Lange. FBI informant. It wasn’t a secret. He was toeing the line and had to choose where his loyalty lied. She wanted to hate him for being the enemy. In truth, she had a crush on him. But , they could never be. Her father would kill him. Sergio was her hero but he would shoot Tank if he ever hurt his princess. Would the risk be worth it? One little kiss wouldn’t hurt, right?
Blood in, No out.
I have been waiting for the book and it was soooo worth the wait. Tiny is badass wrapped up in a delicate package. Tank is delicious and more than just a man living a double life. I can’t wait for the next book!
